ThursdayDear people around me (and neighbours),
I request (beg) you to not comment on my appearance, weight, or size. I just wanted to look good and feel good while doing so.
I want to eat my chicken, samosa, shawarma, dal-chawal, and everything without feeling guilty. I too want to taste tasty treats, and have home cooked meals while I still can.
It's hard, it really is, to have the opportunity (alhamdulillah) to fill my stomach, but can't do so at the same time. With every morsel I ignore for sake of my weight, over your comment, I remember all the humans dying of starvation (especially in Gaza).
Don't want to say anything negative. Don't wanna curse you either. But sometimes when I'm at my lowest, and you hit me with your "harmless" opinions, I wish, oh how intensely did I wished for you to experience whatever you have put me through. And how I wish that whenever I ignore my food, you get sinned for turning away from things provided by God.
Your Adequately weighted and sized fellow human.
