Part 7

The next day I wake up and get ready for school. I throw my hair into a messy bun , then I pull on a blue baseball shirt, black leggings and blue Nike Blazers to match. I grab my bag and walk calmly out of the door because for once, I'm early for the bus! I still can't get over yesterday. I mean, who would ever love someone like me?! And the hottest guy in the school as well!! I'm so lucky!

I put in my earphones and start listening to the Meghan Trainor album. I'm interrupted by two strong hands on my shoulders- Cam!!

I take one earphone out and spin around to see him smiling at me.

"Hey babe!" He says

"Hi!! You scared the life out of me you know!!"

"Sorry!" He says, chuckling. "Anyway, I couldn't stop thinking about what happened yesterday, and-"

I interrupt him "Me too!"

"Really? But what I wanted to say was-"

"What?!" I interrupt again. I wish I hadn't; I just wanna hear the question!

"Shh and let me talk already!! I was gonna say, do you...want to.... um, maybe, go out some time?" His cheeks flush red as he gazes hopefully at me with his puppy dog eyes.

"Of course!" I say, delighted

He shuts his eyes, smiles, lifts my chin up and kisses me. I have to stand on my tiptoes because I'm super short compared to him! The kiss feels magical: double times the perfectness of our last kiss and more!

We pull away and walk up to the bus stop hand in hand. And look who's there! Hayes and Alina! I'm still in a mood with her because of her ignoring me, so when she comes over, I just pretend to talk to Cam (who is still holding my hand by the way 😉).

"I hear you've hooked up as well then, hmm?" Alina says with a friendly smile glancing at mine and Cameron's hands.

"Yeah. I hear that someone isn't being a very good friend as well!"

"What?! Why are you so stroppy with me?!"

"Yesterday?! Did you not see me faint, or remember that we walk home everyday together?!"

"You fainted?!! I didn't know!! I'm so sorry! Are you ok?"

"Not when you're around!"

Just at this moment the bus arrives. Perfect timing!

I sit next to Cameron at the back, with Hayes and Alina sitting at the front, kissing away.

We get in to school and then go our separate ways to our form rooms.

School seems to fly by: Math, English, Chemistry (sitting next to Cam again!!), History and then at lunch, something terrible happens.

After going to get my lunch in the canteen, I walk towards my friends' table and then I look up before I sit down and standing in the corner of the hall is Cameron, almost out of sight. But there is a female figure standing in front of him...

My eyes squint as I try to see who the figure is... My jaw drops in to a big 'O' as I realise who it is...

Ooh!!! Things are starting to get interesting!
Sorry for leaving you guys (mainly girls I'm guessing...) on a cliffhanger!! I promise I'll update soon!
I'm also sorry about the lack of author's notes! I keep forgetting to write them, but tbh I don't think people will read this anyway😂😭
