"Hey mom?"
"What."
"Could I get something to hold my books and stuff, you know, for school tomorrow?"
"Why are you just telling me this now! No. We don't have the money right now. Sorry, you'll have to deal with it until I get my paycheck in two weeks. Use a Walmart bag."
Oh my gosh I do NOT want to use a walmart bag as a backpack. I rather not have one at all.
"Okay, thanks."
And I left the room. I went upstairs, to go punch at my bag. She gets me mad sometimes. How could mom even think that not having a backpack was optional? School tomorrow is going to suck!
