Something new so bare with me, excuse any mistakes

Tasia

Every night I'll dream of this person, seems as if I can't get them out of my mind. Only thing about it I never met them before, you'd think in this industry we'd cross paths but no.

There's a feeling I get within these dreams that I can't help but to want to feel again and again. I seem almost delusional, crazy in a way.

I rolled out of bed at the sound of my alarm getting up proceeding to the bathroom. Today I was invited to do a cooking video with Mama Patti. Patti has been my inspiration since I was a little kid, I hold the upmost respect for her and it has been such a honor and a privilege to be as close as am with her today.

I let the water warm up while I brush my teeth. Still trying to shake the dream out my head like every other morning, but the feeling would not leave my body. The thing is their name is never mentioned, and the face be to blurred for me to recognize. I hope I can figure out soon.

Feeling the scolding hot water hit my body felt so good. I stayed in for bout 20 minutes before coming out, heading to my closet my phone began to ring.

"Hello?"

"Goodmorning babygirl."

"Goodmorning mama, how you feeling."

"I'm good, I can't complain."

"Yes ma'am."

"So how did you sleep last night?"

"I slept well, you?"

"I slept better than ever, thank you for the new bed."

"Aww mama you know I'll do anything for you."

"I love you babygirl."

"I love you too mama, I hope you have an amazing day."

"I will, bless you baby."

"Bless you mama." I sat my phone back down continuing to get dressed. Once getting myself together I grabbed my keys heading out the door going to mama Patti's.

I turned my radio on and 'you don't have to leave here' by Dorinda Clark Cole began to play. The way she sang the song as if she knew there was a story to be told.

She's such an anointed woman of God. My mother is a powerhouse herself and I can only strive to be just a strong in God like her.

After driving another 20 minutes I made it to Mama Patti. "Mama Patti!"

"I'm back here babygirl." I walked to her kitchen seeing her drinking a small glass of wine. "Hey babygirl."

"Hey Mama." We embraced each other as we planted kisses on each other's cheeks.

"Here have a swig." I took the glass drinking it then taking a look at the scenery.

"Now babygirl, I heard you have a show coming up; how you feeling about it?"

"I'm ok about it, just thinking about letting loose and fully having fun with my fans."

"That's the spirit. What does the set list look like?"

"A couple of my songs, I'm definitely throwing in lady marmalade. I've decided to add proud Mary as well as go go."

"I will definitely be in attendance for you babygirl."

"Your support has meant absolutely everything to me Mama, I love you."

"I love you more babygirl and when my documentary comes out just know you're first on the list to play me."

"I would be honored." Soon her team came in and touched up our makeup.

"Ready, in five..four, three, two, and go."

"Hey Dey everybody, we're back for another cooking with Mama Patti. Now today I have a very very special guest, my babygirl, my musical daughter, Ms. Fantasia Barrino."

"Aww Mama, hey everybody."

"Now Tasia baby, we know you're from the country. What was one of your favorite Sunday desserts after coming home from church?"

"Oh man, one of my favorites desserts after eating heavy would have to be my grandmother's chocolate cake."

"Well we can see how that shaped you."

"Yes ma'am, but I use to be a twig Mama Patti"

"I can't tell babygirl, I can't tell."

We shared a small laugh before taking another sip of wine. "Alright guys today for my babygirl we're gonna do a German chocolate cake."

Now I'm not no baker so lord help us...

And as hard as you try,
To hide reality, why?
We know the truth,
So act brand-new if you want to

what would you be
Without me?
What would you be
Without me?
So what? You blowing up just a little,
They knowing you a little,
Don't give a finger in the middle
'Cause little nigga, you would never be
Without me
Where would you be
Without me?

I sung through the house as I was cleaning. Fantasia sung the song so well, had me asking where would the nigga be without me? Exactly where he at now, on the street someway lost.

A knock came at my door as I had just finished the living room. "Coming."

It wasn't nothing but the mail. "Thank you." With this writers strike coming to an end I'm more than excited to be back on the screens. Though it has been good to stick this one out, it gave me time to focus on my hair care line.

My phone started to ring, I looked and it was my girl Danielle. "RAJIII!"

"Dani, I can hear you perfectly fine without the yelling."

"Girl, listen I heard through the grapevine that another color purple is in the works."

"Directed and produced by...?"

"The big O herself."

"Big O? Orgasm? Ian had one of those in so long."

"Girl! Eww! I didn't want to know."

"You said big O."

"Oprah you dummy."

"Oh her? Ok so what's up with the film?"

"Would you be interested in doing it?"

"Possibly, according on who all else is casted."

"Ok, I'll keep you posted on it and think on it please."

"I will."

We hung up as I turned my tv to YouTube and found a cooking with Mama Patti episode her guest just so happened to be Fantasia..

Fantasia Barrino.. a soft spoken woman who had the walk of God's authority on her. She's so beautiful, I'd love to meet her one day. If I'm not mistaken there's a show she has coming up, if I can just make it my mission to meet her; become friends with her.

During the episode, her and Miss Patti kept telling stories and making each other laugh. Fantasia's voice sounded smooth like milk and honey, just perfect almost. They finished the German chocolate cake and they definitely started digging in, made me want a piece; though I'm on a diet so know Ian even finna look that way at a cake.

Soon it was over and I started back cleaning until nightfall. I took a shower, finding something to eat and getting into bed.

Another end to another regular day....
