A whole month went by while fantasia finished her show. After that show that night I was still on a high that girl is something different.

"Raji?"

"Yea J?"

"Can you go to the store for me, you can take one of my cards." I was here at Janet's house cause the poor baby was sick. Where was Toni you may ask, shoot I'd ask that too cause where is she?!

"Yes I'll go to the store for you."

"Take the black card and pick you up something too."

I love it when J spoils me. "Thank you daddy."

"Go on Raji, T be done messed you up."

"Tell her come on, come on wit it." She just laughed as I grabbed the keys and card heading out the door.

I left heading to target's as she sent me the list. Once inside I headed straight to Starbucks, can't get no shopping done until I get my Starbucks in my system.

Going down the aisle someone covered my eyes. "Hey ion mean no harm but you're beautiful."

"I would say the same to you if I could see." I moved their hands seeing it was Fantasia. After a month she decides to show her face somewhere.

"You came here because?"

"As in target or back to LA?"

"Back to LA?"

"Oh just for a little getaway. Toni's letting me use her guest house, it's in a private area close to her own little section by the beach. We should get together sometime."

"We should, though Janet's sick and someone gotta be there."

"Toni's there, well she just got back actually."

"If I can ask where was she?"

"Between you and me, T has some health problems that Janet doesn't know about it. She went back home to her mom for a moment."

"Oh man I'm sorry to hear that. She needs to tell Janet though, they're like sisters."

"No no I wouldn't say sisters. More like friends who are secretly in love with each other."

"Them fools just won't admit to each other for nothing." Seriously them two was stuck on each other and didn't know what to do about it.

"Right, I be bout sick of Toni trynna deny it." She said with a playful eye roll

"I be bout sick if Janet trynna hide it." We laughed as we pushed our buggies down the aisle.

"Say we could get together tonight if you wanted to? I could use some company."

"Sure."

"Lemme give you my number." She put her number in my phone as we continued shopping.

"I see you girl, picking up my products." I looked in her buggy seeing my hair care line in there.

"No seriously this hea has worked a number on my head. It helped me regain my original texture of my hair. You got something good here, don't ever stop."

"Aww, thank you."

"No girl, thank you with your pretty self." I smiled at her and she smiled back.We were now at the self checkout placing our things on the counter.

The lady stopped to look at me, I picked up that she was apart of asset protection . "Susan honey, I promise you ain't got to watch me, there ain't nothing in here that I want. Promise and a panky, an index fanga."

Fantasia was over dey laughing. I was not playing too much racism in the work now, Debra will not colorize me today and try to make me a criminal. I will whoop her ass dry, she better go on.

" I'm just doing my job ma'am."

"I get that but your hand held right there you can do your job from that if you think someone stealing, but this bout to breathe down my neck to watch us ain't it. I came from retail too, I know how it go."

"Taraji.." Fantasia said in a soft warning tone.

"Now what you can do is focus your attention on that couple right there instead of me. Though let me guess then your folks do you gone let theme slide.

"I'm sorry ma'am, really it's been a rough day for her."Fantasia hurried up and slide her card in to pay.

We got her stuff and left. "Fantasia you didn't have to apologize nor pay."

"You was finna eat her up it was time to go, now I do agree the watching over us was strange; though something's are better off not said."

"You got a point." She put my bags in my car for me and opened my door.

"So I'll be seeing you?"

"Absolutely."

"I'll text you the time and address. Get back to Janet's safely."

"I will and ok. You return to your place safely as well."

"I will." She waved at me as she put her bags in her car and proceeded to pull out of the parking lot. I got behind her as we met at the red light, going our separate ways.

I went back to Janet's seeing Toni there. "Well you finally made it back."

"Oh hush up Janet, hello Toni."

"Hey Taraji." Fantasia was right though Toni wasn't gone say anything I can tell whatever she was going through took a toll on her.

I sat the stuff down giving her card back. I kissed Janet's cheek heading out the door before she said some.

"Uh uh Raji, where you going?"

"Just to meet up with a friend."

"A friend or a man?"

"A friend Janet."

You know Tasia in town as well maybe yall could hang, I'm sure she wouldn't mind." Toni spoke as she massaged Janet's shoulders.

"Yea I might, thanks Toni."

"No problem sweetheart. We'll see you later honey."

" absolutely, y'all have a good one and get well Jan."

"With Toni here, I know I will."

"Well what about me, am I chopped liver."

"Nah you're my other good luck charm."

"Yea Raji, I thank you for helping out in my absence. You know Janet like to milk things."

"Who you telling."

"You two will not gang up on me, be gone Raji."

"Bye!" I left out the door heading home to wash up. Tonight should be relaxing as well as interesting.

A night along with the rock soul queen herself. The prettiest woman I've personally laid eyes on.

I never found myself attracted to females but her she got all my attention, and she's had it since that show on that late Friday night.

Fantasia... a breathtaking woman who has a breathtaking presence and honestly I couldn't wait to be in it....
