Cerberus stayed in the castle for a while afterwards, Volker and Morwen had left to care for the underworld kingdom. Cerberus stayed in Lucien's room while he worked. Once Lucien finished his work, he went back to his room to say goodbye to Cerberus, kissing him. Cerberus opened a portal and stepped through it as it closed. Lucien quietly got ready to sleep, throwing on his pajamas and taking off his leg attachment.
The next day, Cerberus was working in his office, Volker sitting infront of him chatting, keeping Cerberus company. Morwen was training the guards in the back garden, showing them fighting stances and how to dodge attacks.
Lucien was chatting with some of the maids in his castle, telling them what to clean and do for the day with Katt. Raven was in the library, reading while seated in his wheelchair. Hades watched him closely, not keeping him out of his sight.
Someone stepped into Lucien's kingdom, walking through the halls towards the main room where Lucien and the maids were. Their sword sheathed away, but tightly to their side. Once they walked into the main room, they saw Lucien, Lucien caught their gaze and smiled warmly. "Hello, welcome! I'm Lucien-" Lucien said, before being interrupted, "i know who you are, Hedone." They said. It was a woman with short brown hair, wearing blue and white, their uniform being of an angel's. Lucien looked concerned, hushing the maid's away quickly. Lucien secretly took out his phone, calling Cerberus as the woman spoke. "You took the throne, you are not deserving of it." She hissed, glaring at Lucien. "I will protect what is mine to protect, I will defend Laurence's line." She said. "I am Jezebel, protector of Laurence. I shall kill you where you stand." Jezebel said as she pulled her sword out, Lucien looked nervous. Jezebel's sword glowed white as she swung at Lucien, Lucien dodged and dropped his phone, running from Jezebel.

Cerberus answered the phone, smiling "Hello Lucien!" Cerberus said, Volker noticed and sat down in his seat, immediately noticing Cerberus frown, putting the phone on speaker. Volker heard Jezebel's voice, Cerberus immediately got up and left the room to get Morwen. Volker listened to the whole conversation, hearing the struggle between Jezebel and Lucien. Morwen and Cerberus came into the room, Cerberus hung up the phone and opened a portal, Volker got up and the three walked through the portal.
Lucien was heavily wounded, being thrown to the ground as Cerberus, Morwen, and Volker came through the portal. Jezebel turned and noticed them, along with Hades and Raven in the hallway rushing in. "This is a battle between me and Hedone." Jezebel hissed, pointing her blade at Cerberus. Jezebel grabbed Lucien by his hair, making him look at Cerberus. "Look, you had to get a demon to help you? Haha-!" Jezebel laughed, before throwing Lucien back to the ground, Lucien coughing in pain. Morwen and Hades darted at Jezebel, slashing at her, Jezebel threw a shield up with magic, blocking Morwen and Hades, throwing them back, Morwen got back up quickly and went to slash at Jezebel, Jezebel hit him first and slashed into his chest, making him fly back. Cerberus and Volker rushed over to Morwen as he coughed up blood. "Morwen-!" Volker cried. "Cough...im fine..dont worry." Morwen said with a sly smile. "Go help Luci.." he said. Volker dragged Morwen away from the fight as Cerberus held his axe tightly, walking towards Jezebel. Jezebel smiled and put up a force field, blocking everyone from her and Lucien. Lucien looked at Cerberus in fear, reaching his hand out for him. Jezebel began to stand over Lucien, holding her sword tightly. Cerberus began to panic and sliced at the force field, which did no use. Cerberus watched as Jezebel stabbed her sword straight through Lucien's back, pinning him to the ground, Lucien gasped in pain. "NO!!!" Cerberus screamed, punching the force field, making it crack and shatter everywhere. Cerberus sliced at Jezebel, right over her face, she skidded across the ground and covered her blue blood stained face, crying in pain. Cerberus dropped his axe and rushed over to Lucien, removing the sword and holding Lucien close. Lucien's vision became blurry, he was dying. "Lucien! Lucien!!!" Cerberus cried as Lucien slowly closed his eyes. "LUCIEN!!!" He screamed, Lucien fell limp, dead. Cerberus screamed for him, glaring at Jezebel, who got her sword back, smiling at Cerberus with a scar over her eye. Cerberus let go of Lucien and grabbed his axe, beginning to fight Jezebel. Cerberus was swifted off his feet by Jezebel, cornered into a wall, his axe far away from him after he fell, Jezebel's sword right over his neck. "I thought i could only kill one overlord, turns out ill kill both." Jezebel laughed. Cerberus glared at Jezebel, spitting at her. Jezebel went to swing at Cerberus and the sword immediately shattered, she panicked and turned to face Lucien, who stood up, holding his hand out, blood dripped from his stomach, but he still stood up. Cerberus' axe appeared in his hand, the blackened metal immediately faded to an almost white silvery metal, the handle had gold engravings that glowed beautifully. "You gods are all so stubborn-!!!" Jezebel yelled, looking angry. Lucien rushed at Jezebel, acting like he'd swing at her, making Jezebel dodge, Lucien immediately grabbed Jezebel by her neck, slamming her down into the ground. She coughed in pain, Lucien standing over her, holding the axe up right over her neck. Jezebel looked terrified, holding her hands up to block, but her powers didnt work. The blade came right down on her neck, cutting it from her head. Lucien stood over Jezebel for a moment, before dropping the axe as it faded back to black, and Lucien dropped, passing out. Cerberus got up quickly and picked up Lucien, "LUCIEN!!" Cerberus cried.
Lucien was immediately rushed to Dr. Farcry, where he was bandaged up, Lucien still somehow alive from the wound. He rested in his bedroom, asleep for a few days, Cerberus constantly watching over Lucien.
