Lucien was quietly lying in bed, sobbing. He covered his face with his hands, weeping quietly. He heard noises in the hallway, screaming, he uncovered his face and sat up, putting his robe on and stepping out of his room.
He saw Cerberus ontop of someone, tearing at their throat with his teeth. Lucien looked terrified, seeing Cerberus stand up over the lifeless corpse. Cerberus turned and faced Lucien, almost knowing he was there. Lucien gasped and closed his door immediately, locking it. He rushed to the back of the room, hearing Cerberus fumbling with the doorknob violently. Lucien felt his heart pounding, Cerberus growled in anger and kicked the door open, stepping into the room. Cerberus began to walk over to Lucien, Lucien tried to rush around him, immediately being grabbed by his sleeve. Lucien cried out in fear, kicking at Cerberus. It was no use, Cerberus held onto Lucien tightly, Lucien set his hand on Cerberus's face, his hands glowed bright white, Cerberus cried in pain and let Lucien go, allowing Lucien to run out of the room, rushing into the library of the castle. He hid behind a shelf, covering his mouth to silence his breaths, hearing Cerberus walking around the Library, hunting Lucien down.
There was a loud gunshot.
Lucien flinched, hearing Volker's voice. Lucien got up quickly and rushed over to the gunshot, seeing Volker holding a shotgun over Cerberus who was lying on the ground in a pool of golden blood. Volker looked terrified, seeing his best friend's body on the floor. "Volker!" Lucien cried, rushing over to Volker and hugging him tightly. "I-Im here..its okay.." Volker stuttered, looking like he was about to cry. "H-How did you know..?" Lucien mumbled. "Katelyn wanted me to check on Cerby..." Volker said softly, his face immediately changed to fear seeing Cerberus stand up, part of his head missing. Lucien wasnt facing Cerberus, he looked concerned at Volker's face, Lucien was immediately grabbed, dragged away from Volker. Lucien cried for Volker. "VOLKER!!" Lucien cried. "LUCI!" Volker screamed, reaching for Lucien as he got dragged away.
Lucien kicked and screamed, sobbing at Cerberus, getting no response from him. They were both in the hallway to Lucien's bedroom, Cerberus dropped Lucien and held his large axe tightly, glaring down at Lucien. Lucien began to tear up, holding his hands up to shield himself. Cerberus blinked and one of his eyes went back to normal, seeing Lucien's state, looking at the hand his wedding ring was on. He dropped his axe, groaning in pain, gripping his head in pain. Lucien backed up, seeing Cerberus drop to his knees, crying in agony. Cerberus fainted, falling over, the black in his skin fading away. Lucien rushed over to Cerberus worriedly. "Volker!!" Lucien cried, Seeing Volker rush into the hallway towards them. "Is he okay?!" Volker cried, kneeling down beside Lucien. "I dont know..!"
