We finally arrived at the Cullen's house, a testament to Esme's incredible craftsmanship. The architecture was nothing short of stunning, blending seamlessly with the natural surroundings.

As we parked, Rose eagerly jumped out of the car and opened the door for me with a flourish. "Welcome to my home, milady," she mimicked my British accent with playful charm. Her imitation was so endearing that I couldn't help but grin widely. Taking her outstretched hand, I stepped out of the car, feeling a mix of excitement and gratitude for such a warm welcome.

The soft glow from the windows illuminated the path to the front door, inviting us into the Cullens' world. Each step we took felt like entering a different realm, one filled with elegance and mystery. Rose led the way, her confidence radiating as she guided me towards the entrance.

"Just a heads up, everyone's here. It seems Carlisle is also waiting," Rose warned me, though her caution was hardly necessary. I could already sense the presence of the others myself. As the goddess of the supernatural, my senses were finely tuned to detect supernatural beings around me. Not only could I sense them, but I also had a significant amount of control over them. However, I always treaded carefully, never wanting to harm anyone or disrupt the natural order of things. My powers were a gift, and I used them responsibly.

The only exception to my usual restraint was when Rose asked me for a favor. Her being my mate meant the world to me, and I would do anything to help her. If she needed me to use my powers, I would do so willingly, trusting her judgment implicitly.

"Thanks, Rose, but I think we'll be fine. As long as nobody poses a threat to you, I'm sure everything will be fine," I reassured her, noticing her nervousness as she squeezed my hand tighter than usual. If I were human, I probably would've ended up with a broken hand.

Inside, the ambiance was cozy yet sophisticated, a reflection of the family that called this place home. The air was filled with a faint scent of fresh flowers, adding to the welcoming atmosphere. Esme appeared from the living room, her smile brightening the space even more.

"Welcome! You must be Katherine. It's wonderful to meet you, sweetheart. And I'm happy Rose finally found her mate," Esme greeted me with a warm smile, her eyes kind and welcoming.

"Thank you for welcoming me into your beautiful home, Mrs. Cullen. And please, call me Kat; everyone does," I replied politely. There was no need for hostility; after all, they were Rose's family. They knew I would protect her no matter what, and that mutual understanding laid a solid foundation for our relationship.

Esme's smile widened at my words, and Carlisle nodded in approval. Their acceptance meant a lot, not just to me but also to Rose. It was a sign of trust and respect, two things that were vital in any relationship, especially one as unique as ours.

As I looked around, I couldn't help but admire the attention to detail in every corner of the house. From the carefully chosen artwork to the elegant furniture, it was clear that Esme had poured her heart and soul into creating a home that was both beautiful and inviting.

With Rose by my side and Esme's warm welcome, I knew that this visit would be one to remember. The Cullens' house was more than just a place; it was a sanctuary filled with love, warmth, and a sense of belonging.

"Then please, call me Esme," she responded warmly. If vampires could blush, I was certain Esme would have been glowing. I turned to Carlisle, who smiled affectionately at his wife, before introducing myself.
