I really don't like this. In fact, I hate this with every fiber of my being.

Edward went to Alaska, and our mother has been irritated ever since. Meanwhile, Kate has been constantly pestering me and Rose to go fetch him, adding to the chaos.

To make matters worse, Bella refuses to leave Rose and me alone. She mostly hovers around me because she finds Rose unapproachable. Honestly, sometimes I wish I could just make Bella disappear; her presence is driving me up the wall.

You know, in the beginning. I genuinely wanted to help Bella. I saw her as someone who needed guidance and support. But now, honestly, I'm at my wit's end. I've reached a point where I'm seriously considering just saying 'fuck it' and ending her once and for all.

I stood up suddenly, startling Rose. She looked up at me with a mix of confusion and concern. " What are you doing, Kat?" Rose asked, her voice tinged with worry due to my abrupt movement.

" I've decided," I said, my voice trembling with barely contained rage, "fuck the repercussions. I'm going to kill Bella. I can't do this anymore. She has been literally stalking us, and I haven't fed in almost three days because, everywhere I go, she's there." My words hung in the air, heavy and full of intent as i made my way towards the front door.

But just as I reached for the handle, Mom appeared in front of me, blocking my path. Her expression was a mix between stern disapprove and deep concern.

"No, you won't, young lady," Mom-Persephone-said as she appeared, looking exasperated. Rose jumped up, clearly startled; she had never met Persephone in person before.

"You, young lady, know you're not allowed to kill the human. She serves a purpose," Persephone said firmly, her eyes locking onto mine with an unyielding gaze. Then she turned to Rose, her expression softening into a sweet, motherly smile. "And Rosalie, it is wonderful to finally meet you. I wish it were under better circumstances. It's been busy, and I only managed to get away because I had to stop Kat."

Rose blushed at Persephone's kind greeting, clearly taken aback by the unexpected warmth. It was a rare sight to see Rose so flustered, and for a moment, the tension in the room eased slightly. But I knew Persephone was serious, and any further protest on my part would be futile.

"Now, Kat, I know Bella is annoying you and Rose, but there is a reason why she must stay alive," Persephone said, her tone softening slightly. "Once she has fulfilled her purpose, it will be up to you to decide what to do.

"As for the blood situation, I've left a few bags of blood in the fridge in the basement. That should be enough to get you and Rose through until Edward is back, and her focus shifts again."

Her words were firm but comforting, offering a temporary solution to the immediate problem while hinting at a future where we might have more control over our situation. I took a deep breath, feeling some of the tension ease from my shoulders. At least for now, we had a plan.
