CHAPTER 16

RACHEL's POV

At last, I managed to push Luka away because he really wouldn't stop if I didn't. I wiped my lips while looking at him, feeling a bit disgusted by what had just happened.

I was still catching my breath from our intense kiss, but Luka was just staring at me.

"I'll think of it as a mistake Madam, kasi you look tipsy na din" Tanging sabi ko sa kanya, trying to downplay the situation kasi hindi ko gusto lumaki itong problema namin ngayon.

"Kung wala ka ng ibang sasabihin, mas mabuting lalabas na ako" I reached for the door to unlock it, but Luka's hand suddenly closed it again, catching me off guard.

"And then what? Babalik ka na naman sa Zax na yon?" I looked at him and noticed how close his face was to mine.  Pero hindi ako nagpakita na apektado ako sa kanya.

"Zax na naman?? Ano ba talaga problema mo kay Zax HA?! At ANO NAMAN KUNG PUPUNTA AKO KAY ZAX? Ha LUKA?!" It felt like we were having a staring contest, and the first to blink would be the loser.

Between the two of us, he was the first to look away, resting his head on my shoulder with a heavy sigh.

"Luka lalabas na talaga ak-"

"Van nagseselos ako" sabi niya sa akin, shocking me. Ba't naman siya magseselos? 

"Dahil gusto mo si Zax?" His head moves again to face me and I could see the confusion and anger mixed on his face.

"WHAT? NO?! Sinabi ko ba gusto ko si ZAX? Nagseselos ako kasi kayo ni Zax and I don't know why Van. Naguguluhan ako ngayon sa nararamdaman ko" I was speechless sa confession niya, I could really see na sobra talaga siyang naguguluhan dahil para maiiyak na ang mukha niya ngayon

We stared at each other, and I was the first to break the gaze.

"Luka mas mabuti mamaya na lang natin to pag-usapan kasi baka naghintay na sila Kylie sa atin" and he look away and nodded as an aproval.

Without hesitation, I left the restroom and went back to the table where Kylie and the others were.

I don't know how to respond to Luka because I'm also confused about him. I don't want to hope again that he might love me, and I definitely don't want to fall for Luka all over again.

At grabe ha! Manghalik muna bago mag confess, he even took my first kiss! Ang Kapal Talaga! 

LUKA'S POV

Hindi ko talaga alam kung anong pumasok sa isip ko at hinalikan si Van. But the worst thing is, I didn't regret it.

So right now nakakatitig pa rin ako sa salamin ngayon sa C.R and I noticed that my lipstick was smudged and I know this was from unexpected kissing scene kanina kaya I did a retouch on my lips kasi baka magtaka sila Kylie sa akin.

Lumabas na ako sa c.r at pumunta na table ko and just act that nothing happens 

Nakita kong nasa table si Van and as usual she is talking with Kylie. Mas mabuti kung ganon, at least she is not talking with Zax. I take my seat and I can see na napatingin si Van sa akin pero iniwas niya agad ito. Originally my seat was next to her but I'm sitting now in front of her cause I  want to

"Ba't ang tagal niyo ni Rachel kanina sa C.R Bestie?" Napatingin naman ako kay Kylie at nakita ko pa ang mapanglaro na ngisi niya ngayon sa akin. 

"Ahm, just doing retouch a little retouch and you know naman na make up artist ko si Van diba? So yuh" I saw that he nods as an approval at my response

"So nag retouch ba din si Rachel? Kasi I noticed, bago ang lipstick color na niya ngayon? Medyo bloody red na kasi ngayon, yung kanina kasi medyo light pink lang yun ah." Sh*t! Napatingin naman ako kay Rachel at nakita kong napalaki ang mukha niya at may kinuha siya na salamin sa bag niya para siguro i-check niya kung tama ba ang sinabi ni Kylie but it really is true kasi nakita ko bago siya kumuha ng salamin.

Shutanginers na! Ano ang isagot ko nito?!

"Ahm, Ahahaha! Ah oo nag retouch din ako Kylie, bet ko kasi yung lipstick ni Luka kaya nag borrow ako sa kanya kanina sa C.R. Hahaha! Diba Luka?" Nakita ko namang pinalaki niya ang kanyang mga mata at binigyan ako ng "Just Say Yes" look

"Yes! You're right Vanie. Best friend na kasi kami ni Van sis kaya ko siya pina-borrow" I make my voice playful as a response and smiled at Van and nakita ko naman na uminom na lang siya ng tubig na sa table

"Ahh, akala ko nag 'you know' kayo" sabi naman ni Kylie na may matching tawa

"Nag-what Bes?" Tanong naman ni Nika sa gilid

"Secret~" sagot naman nito at ngumisi naman si Kylie sa akin and I know what he meant about that smile kaya I just rolled my eyes to him.

I diverted my attention to Van, who was busy on her phone, which kinda irritates me. Is she texting Zax? Or sino na naman na lalaki ang textmate niya ngayon?

I took my phone out of my bag and messaged Van:

'Mag-usap tayo mamaya sa room ko'

And sent it.

RACHEL'S POV

I felt my phone buzz and saw a message from Luka pop up above my screen: 

'Mag-usap tayo mamaya sa room ko'

Great! Just what I needed. More confusion.

I glanced at Luka, who was already looking at me. He raised an eyebrow, silently asking for a response. I've got no choice but to reply,

'May dapat ba tayong pag-usapan? Pwede mo naman i-text na lang sa akin'

'About sa nangyari kanina and this can't be talked through message and just on a phone'

Oh gosh, this is gonna be awkward!

'Can we just forget it? Kasi I'm willing to forget it and not make it a big deal'

Tumingin na naman ako sa kanya and I can see na napakunot ang mukha niya:

'No, I want us to talk Van. Just knock on my door mamaya, and that's final!'

I just sighed 

'Ok po'

Ano ba ang problema nito ni Luka, pwede namang i-forget na lang ang nangyari kasi ako, willing ko i-forget yun eh. I really don't know ba't need pa namin yun pag-usapan

Ha! I guess good luck to me, mamaya.
