Chapter 6: Pairs of Twins

Lunch time rolls around signalling to all the bored and hungry students to flood into the cafeteria. I sit at a table with a few of my friends, Serena and Blue,  along with Zelda, Yang Xiao Long and Ruby Rose who I met from the group of people I ran into in the forest during the initiation to the huntsman course.

Red walks over holding a tray of food before sitting down beside Blue. The two share a smile. With the few days hanging around the group of Pokemon trainers I found out Red is only truly confident around Blue, the others believe there's something more there but the two deny it

Blue: "so.. about the rumours.. is it true you are the princess of Hyrule?"

Zelda: "I indeed am.. b-but here I'm just a student, same as all of you so please don't give me special treatment"

Serena: "I would never have dreamed of being friends with a literal princess!"
She exclaimed excitedly

Yang: "so what made you decide to come here of all places?"

Zelda: "me and Link were sent here by Father after Hyrule crossed over into this world so we could meet and learn from new people from new places"

"How are you liking it?"

Zelda: "I was initially nervous, and I'm sure Link was the same. But eventually I made a few good friends and now I'm enjoying it more than I could have hoped"

Blue: "glad to hear it, your majesty"

Zelda: "hehe, just Zelda is fine"

Yang: "and what is Link? Your bodyguard? A brother? Boyfriend?"

Zelda: "he is both my appointed knight and my adopted brother

Zelda: "You see Link being my appointed knight, means he is the very one fabled to wield the sword said to seal the darkness. Only he can use it to its full potential because it was him destiny chose to wield it"

Ruby: "I'm more interested in his cool sword. He was all like 'woosh' and then 'swish'"
She mimics swinging a sword as she makes the sounds

Serena: "if it's only the sword's chosen knight that can use it, was Link always going to be chosen by destiny or was it because he is your adopted brother"

Zelda: "he had worked very hard to achieve the status as a knight so I would rather believe the sword chose him for his talents rather than his relations"

Elsewhere some loud chatter about another blonde set of twins

Voice1: "I heard they can fly"

Voice2: "I heard that their wings are actually just some kind of glider"

Voice3: "I heard their world was destroyed and they are the last two survivors"

Voice1: "ok.. that's just sad.. I hope that there are others somewhere else, because that must be painful"

Voice2: "seriously though, how is Aether so strong, what's his routine?"

Voice3: "and how is Lumine all natural? That face looks like it uses make up but she doesn't?!"
