Sodo POV: I lay there in bed with Rain holding him close to my chest, my leg thrown over him, stroking his dark curly hair, his arms around me as he lay asleep still. Normally I would've kicked anyone else off my bed entirely. Rains just different.
I look down at him. 'he looks so peaceful when he sleeps.. cute.' i think to myself as I continue stroking his hair. Nothing else just the sound of our breathing, our chests rising and falling.
He shifted a little and it startled me, I pulled my hand back and took my leg off him, seeing if he'll wake.
He stopped moving for a moment before he moved his arm to my leg. To my surprise he pulled it back over him and wrapped his arm around me again. "Hold me.." Rain said. I cautiously placed my hand back on his head, going back to gently playing with his hair. "Mine." I say, pulling him even closer.
Rain POV: I felt Sodo place his hand back in my hair, it felt nice. I moved my hand back to his leg, running it over his thigh for a bit before I squeezed it a gently. Sodo shifted his leg a little, I swear he almost wanted to kicked me, but he resisted. He instead bonked my head gently as he could which wasn't much, with the palm of his hand.
"Not now." He said to me, he sounded tired. I didn't respond I just brought my arm back around him, burying my face into his chest more as he went back to stroking my hair.
We just lay there for a bit.
He ran his fingers near the base of my horns. A shiver went down my spine as he did every so often. "Sodo." I say opening my eyes and looking up at him. He looked back down at me and tilted his head slightly. "What is it?" He responded.
I was silent for a moment. "Never mind.." I say deciding not to say it, I rest my head back on his chest. "Rain." I didn't expect him to call me, I look back up at him... he was silent for a moment. "Never mind." He said. "no tell me." I say back.
Sodo POV: "no it's stupid." I say, as I stop stroking his hair and look away. "Just tell me." He said back to me. I think about it for a bit, fidgeting with his hair. "No." I finally say looking back down at him.
"Pleeeasse?" *He said, giving me those stupid puppy eyes as he looked into my eyes. I looked away again... "I won't stop asking, please." He said sounding a little bratty. I rolled my eyes.
"Fine.. I love you. There, happy?" I say finally.
Rain POV: dang it. I was gonna say that but I hesitated oh well. "I love you too." I say back, turning and laying my head on his chest as I pull myself closer into him.
