Two days. Two long days of searching and I still had very little to go on. I had found two people who had seen someone like him, but no one knew where he lived or anything. I was frustrated. I ran a hand through my long hair and sighed as I walked down yet another dirt, dark, moist ally. Suddenly, something caught my eye. A flash of metal. I ran quickly after the person. In a side ally, a figure cloaked in black moved, more like trudged, through the street. He kept tugging on his sleeve, as if to hide something. I knew I had found him. I didn't jump right out, instead I followed a safe distance behind.

He turned into a dirty apartment and I followed. It was dirty and dark. I pushed silently through the door that had broken hinges. I walked in and had to stop myself from gasping. It was dirtier inside then out. It was cold and dark. The windows were covered in dirt and grime. It looked like someone trashed the place. Furniture parts were everywhere and glass was strewn across the ground.

I walked through a low doorway and saw the figure sitting cross legged on the remains of as couch. His hair hangs down in his face and he has taken off his jacket to reveal a robotic arm. He sat there his head in his hands. It broke my heart. I walked silently to him but I stepped on a stick and it snapped. He stiffened. He slowly stood.

I backed away carefully, but I wasn't fast enough. His robotic hand was around my neck, cutting off most of my oxygen. I gasped for breath. He looked at me and his eyes widened the narrowed as he saw my face. He looked awful. His eyes were haunting and sad.

Your just a dream. You are not real. I killed you. Your dead. He said.

I was up against the wall. It was become harder to breath. Both of my slim, weak hands wrapped around his wrist. My eyes rolled back in my head. His grip loosens and I struggle to keep awake.

I love you. I say as the grip tightens again. My body collapsed and everything went black.

I was awake a few moments later. Someone was holding me, stroking my hair. I moved gently and Bucky looked at me, tears streaming down his face.

I thought I lost you. I thought I killed you again.

What are you talking about?

If I had waited for you, you wouldn't have been shot.

Bucky stop. You cant change the past.

But you were going to die.

But you see I didn't. And then you left. Oh Bucky darling. I have missed you.

He kissed me gently. His arms wrapped around me and I ran my fingers through his tangled hair.
