Charlotte's POV
I groan slightly while waking up. I open my eyes and look around, taking in my surroundings, I'm not at home? I sit up quickly and realise I'm half naked..in Mia's bed..in her jumper.
"Oh shit. What did I do?" I whisper to myself. Shes sleeping peacefully next to me, she does look cute like that. But if I did sleep with her, it's bad. Really bad. I mean Marjorie and Autumn...Henry. I need to get out of here. I quickly get up, taking off Mia's jumper and putting her dress and her jump back on, yeah she's not getting it back. I call an Uber back to mine and open her bedroom door.
I turn around to look at her once more, she is beautiful, but I can't do this. I have a husband and a life, I can't destroy either for a girl who's probably using me for her own gain. My phone buzzes indicating my Uber is outside, I sigh and walk outside to get in the car. Even thought I did leave I felt like I almost didn't want to. Like I wanted to stay in bed with her to see her reaction to me being there.
"We're here." The cab driver says a little while later.
"Oh. Thank you have a nice day." I smile getting out. It's currently 7:26, which means I'm late for work and Henry is definitely home because he got fired. Ugh this is gonna be a long conversation, hopefully he's still asleep. I do find it a bit weird I've been out all night and not spoken to him yet I have no unread messages or missed calls from him.
I unlock the front door to walk inside and something is just not right. I don't know if it's me being weird but I stepped into my house and it's like the whole atmosphere changed, somethings going on somewhere. And I don't like it.
"Henry?" I call him but no answer. Is he asleep? I walk up my stairs slowly and I can hear movement coming from our room so he can't be asleep. "Henry?" I call again.
"Shit is your wife home?" I hear someone else say. A woman's voice. Oh this is not happening again. I should've listened to Marjorie and Autumn. I swing the door open to see Henry in MY bed with someone else, I should've stayed with Mia.
"No fucking way." I say looking straight at him. Before looking at her. "Get out of my house."
"Char-" Henry starts while the girl grabs her stuff and leaves.
"Don't. Don't you dare. You told me it was nothing, you made me believe you. You even slept with me after!" I start shouting while he walks to me.
"Who's jumper is that? Because I've never seen it before." He's now standing right infront of me.
"Seriously?! I just caught you cheating, again, and all you care about is who's jumper I'm wearing?" I shout at him again. He infuriates me so much.
"Who's jumper are you wearing?" He questions again calmly.
"Oh for gods sake Henry, it's Mia's! I'm wearing Mia's jumper! Now who the fuck was in my bed?!"
"Her names Jessica, look Char baby I'm so sorry. I didn't mean it, it was a mistake. It won't happen again I swear." I start laughing at him angrily even though I have started crying.
"That's exactly what you said last time." I look up and make eye contact with him. "Do you know what? This exactly why I slept with Mia."
It wasn't, at all but he doesn't have to know that.
"You what?!" He screams. Now he's angry?
"Yeah I slept with her. And I can't believe I actually felt bad for you because of what I did. This whole flirting thing was never just flirting was it? And you never stopped it when you say you would did you?"
