Sorry for the late update! I've been really busy.
Charlotte's POV
I woke up to my alarm. Groaning I try to roll over to turn it off but Mia pulls me back and turns it off for me.
"Good morning sweetheart." Mia smiles while tucking pieces of my hair behind my ear.
"Good morning." I smile back, letting my head rest back on her chest, not wanting to get up yet.
"You feeling okay?" She asks while rubbing my back comfortingly.
"Yeah I'm okay."
"Good because we need to get up for work. You can't be late again." She kisses my forehead and starts to move so she can get out of bed, I lay basically on top of her and tighten my arms around her.
"I don't wanna get up yet." I mumble loud enough for her to hear. Mia starts laughing wrapping her arms around me again.
"Autumn is gonna kill you sweetheart."
"I don't care right now." I lift my head up to see her smirking at me, her hands gripping my hips a little bit tighter.
"You're so beautiful you know that?" Mia whispers and I feel the blush rising from my neck to my cheeks.
"Thank you." I smile.
"You're welcome sweetheart..but seriously we need to get up or Autumn's gonna be calling your phone."
"Yeah we can get up in a minute." I reply before kissing her lips softly. Mia kisses me back hard, making me slightly dizzy, running the tips of her fingers over my spine. I can hear a phone buzzing, but I'm too focused on her. Her hand meeting my jaw, pulling my face back softly,
"I think Autumn may be calling you." Mia giggles. I roll my eyes at her, sitting up on her lap to grab my phone but no one's ringing me,
"It's not my phone." I say confused.
"No. Autumn's calling me." Mia says after picking up her phone. She answers hearing Autumns voice instantly,
"Tell her I said she better be on time."
"How did you know I was here again?" I sigh taking her phone.
"I'm not an idiot. You can tell Marjorie you've stopped seeing her all you like, I know you can't stay away." She laughs while I roll my eyes, I feel Mia's hands on my thighs making me want to end this conversation right now.
"I won't be late Autumn." I change the subject, shooting her a warning look as she moves them higher.
"You better not be or I'm coming to get you from her house."
"You know where I live?" Mia questions, moving her hands even higher.
"No, but I'll find out and I'll drag her out of that house. Be here in half an hour Charlotte."
"I will." I reply putting the phone down quickly, Mia's hands at the top of my thighs now.
"Don't. We seriously do need to get up now." I move her hands and get up off Mia, moving out of the bed.
Mia's POV
"You were the one saying you wanted to stay in bed." I smirk, watching her get dressed.
"That was before Autumn threatened to drag me by my hair because she's serious."
"You seemed to like it last night.." I mumble getting up as well.
"What was that?" Char says giving me a warning look.
"Nothing sweetheart." I smile as I walk up to her, kissing her forehead.
"That's what I thought." She sighs now brushing her hair. 10 minutes later and we're both ready, giving us 20 minutes to get to the nursery.
We in my car and Autumn calls Charlotte.
"Hello? Yes Autumn we're in the car now." Char rolls her eyes.
"Good. See you soon." Autumn ends the phone off again again and I giggle,
"I told you she would kill you."
"Shut up." Char laughs, reaching for my hand and pulling it into her lap.
"Are you okay sweetheart?" I look at her quickly while we're at a red light.
"Yeah. Why wouldn't I be?" She smiles.
"You're just very.. affectionate this morning." I smile back, looking away to drive again.
"Am I not always affectionate?" Char replies and I can see the fake look of hurt on her face from the corner of my eye.
"Yes but not like this. You sure you're okay?" I turn into the nursery, there was no traffic today so we made it in quicker, parking the car in the back so no one else can see us as I turn to look at her again.
"Yeah I'm okay, I just.." She sighs. "I thought I'd lost you yesterday so now I'm reminding myself that I haven't."
"I'll always be here, sweetheart." I smile leaning over to kiss her forehead. "But you need to go in before anyone sees us."
"I know." Char replies before leaning up and kissing my lips softly. I hold her face, kissing her back while I keep her close to me.
"I'll see you later?" I say once we've pulled back.
"Yeah of course, you'll have to come get me though."
"Okay, see you tonight sweetheart." I smile again watching her get out the car and walk in.
Sorry this one is short, Where I've been really busy and this is the best I could do in between.
I'm less busy now so I'm gonna try get back to updating at least once a day like before. Also for everyone asking my marjoreece story is on hold for the moment because I've lost ideas for the story, if you have any lmk!
