Part 13

Prims pov

Katniss was in the woods today. It's the first time she has left the house since Gale got sick. I decided I was going to grab Rory and go out into the woods and tell her about what Rory told me.
Rory and I ventured out words the woods. Once we got to the fence, we listened for the tell tale electric buzz, but there was none. We climbed under the fence, and we ran through the meadow to the spot Katniss and Gale are always at. We spy on them sometimes to get a laugh from gales rants to Katniss about the awfulness of the Capitol. Katniss just smirks and listens and occasionally laughs at his words.
We find Katniss at the rock where she and Gale are always at, but it looks to big without him there, and I could tell right away that Katniss felt the same way. I guess she herd is coming and she turned around. "PRIM!?!? She said in surprise. "Wha what are you guys doing here?!?"she said worriedly. "We need to talk to you." Rory replied. "Ok..." She said. "Here's the thing. Um... Gale kind of... he uh..." I stuttered. How do I tell my sister this important information the right way?? "Gale loves you" Rory said flat out. "What?" Katniss said in surprise, but I could see the hint of a smile forming on her face. "Yeah. He wouldn't eat or anything and he cried and stuff when you went to... uh... the capitol" Rory said carefully. "And...i came into his room on day, the first day... uh you... were in the....uh" Rory stutters. "It's ok you can say it" Katniss says with a little smile. "The first day you were in the games, I went into his room to see if he wanted something to eat. He said "Katniss is gone. And I loved her. and now I might never be able to tell her" rory said. We sat in silence for a minute. Katniss seemed to be pondering what we just said. Then, she smiled. She smiled really big and hugged us and said "thanks you guys"
Soon we left Katniss in the woods to go back home. "Do you think that was the right thing to do?" I asked Rory. "Yeah. Gales gonna kill me when he wakes up. But how do you even know Katniss likes him?" I bought carefully for a minute and then replied. "She told him. While he was asleep." I said. "Gale please wake up. Please wake up because I love you." I said to Rory. He looked at me then smiled. "Then yes primrose everdeen, yes that was the right thing to do."
