"Thanks for taking care of me catnip" he said to me. We were at his doorway. He was all better. "I love you" I said. He leaned in and kissed me. "Love you to" he said. I am just so grateful that he is better.
I smiled to myself as I walked back to my house.
"Gale is mine. I am his. Anything else is unthinkable."
