Katniss's mothers pov
"Mom!!! Mom he's awake!!!" I herd Katniss scream through tears. I came running in to the living room to find Katniss crying and running her hand over gales forehead. "Oh thank god your ok Gale" I said with a smile. He tried to sit up. "No no no shh it's ok. Lie down" Katniss coaxed as she layed him back down. More tears poured down her face. "Hey it's ok. I'm alright" Gale said as he wiped the tears away from her face. "I thought you were gonna die" Katniss said as she hugged him tightly. "I thought. I would never see you again" they talked for a while while I gave Gale various medicines to drink. The whole time Katniss was smiling. She even laughed occasionally. I don't even want to begin to think what she would have done if he didn't wake up. "Alright Gale that's all your medicine." I said. "Thanks mrs. Everdeen." He said. "And thank you katniss" we both smiled at him. Katniss hugged him again and sighed. I smiled and walked to my room as gales strong arms held Katniss.
