  I say to him as he falls on the bed beside me. He pulls me onto his chest and he kisses me softly
 
  "Hopefully that's the worst of it over but it will flare up over the next few days and you can't leave my side at any point. Other men will try to mate with you if I'm not there so be vigilant because you are MINE!"
 
  He kisses my lips and smiles against them and I grin back sitting up and stretching. I grab some water and down it then lift a joint after wrapping my body in a light sheet and sitting on our smoking loveseat.
 
  "What if we just play nice with the neighbours? Walk up to their border and say we know what you are and we don't want to disturb them but 2 of our men were taken behind their border and another was killed by Gemma. Beg them to let us check the place, they can even come with us if they want but play nice and don't assume they are the ones doing this. They are in hiding for a reason and have never bothered us before so I don't understand why they would start now? unless it wasn't them but one of them?"
 
  He stands up and pulls on jeans and underwear, he grabs fresh bottoms and underwear for me and hands me them with a sports bra. I take them groaning, most of the heat may be gone but I'm still hot but I take them and dress myself quickly, leaving my shirt off my body.
 
  "It's a good idea, we might as well try but your not going until you put a shirt on"
 
  "Really? Just like that? you're going to just walk up to them because I said so?"
 
  He smirks at me as I pull on a vest top
 
  "Ofcourse, your my Luna I will alway take what you say into
  Consideration. Plus it's a good idea, why go to war with people we don't know. They might be reasonable"
 
  I look myself over and groan. I don't exactly look presentable, I pull out jeans and swap them out with my sweats and I pull on boots and a leather jacket. I tear a brush through my hair and put it up in a messy bun. Then I turn around and look him over. He's in a simple shirt and jeans. Completely beautiful as usual.
 
  "You know you didn't need to get dressed up"
 
  I shrug
 
  "If your going to treat me like the Luna I better look the part"
 
  He frowns
 
  "You are the Luna"
 
  "I know I am, but even though I am I didn't think you would actually take my advice."
 
  He shakes his head and pulls me close, lifting my chin and peaking my lips then sighing.
 
  "Don't expect me to treat you the way other folk used to treat you. You are perfect for me and for this pack and I would trust you to run it all if you had to. I know you could do it"
 
  I blush at the complement and kiss him back then I step back and grin up at him
 
  "Sorry it's just a shock is all. Let's do this we have 2 men to find"
 
  "Actually one man and one woman"
 
  "Well we have 2 people 2 find then"
 
  I reply, pulling him towards the door, when we come out the place is packed, my dad, grandad and uncle come racing to me and pull me into a group hug. Mike comes next and kisses me on the head
 
  "Missed your face little one. It's not the same without you"
 
  Aspen and Luca pull me into a hug next and chuckle as Luca spins me around and sets me back on my feet kissing my forehead.
 
  "So we have had an idea. We are going to drive up to their gate and ask to speak to their alpha and see if we would be allowed permission to enter there property to look for our people"
 
  Everyone pauses at Deacon's words as he pulls me back to his chest.
 
  "I like it"
 
  Dad says happily
 
  "I don't"
 
  Granda crosses his arms grumpy as usual
 
  "We like it"
 
  Aspen puts her hand up and comes to stand by my side then continues
 
  "We will go with you"
 
  She grins as Luca takes his place beside her.
 
  "We will go"
 
  Jake says smiling at Isla
 
  "No you can't bring her with you"
 
  James shouts at him, I growl at James he's such a fucking child.
 
  "Excuse me but last I heard I'm the beta of this pack, I'm mated, fated, marked and married and I'm going with my Luna so either come with us or shut up but I'm the one in rank here"
 
  I bite my lip and try to stop my eyes from widening as Isla gets up and stands at my other side taking my hand. Jake just stands there with his mouth open and finally he clears his throat
 
  "Yeah what she said"
 
  I bite back my laugh as Jake stands behind Isla. I can feel that deacon is trying really hard not to laugh right now and it makes it harder for me to hold my own back. James grabs his temples and walks away rubbing them.
 
  "Go I'll calm him down"
 
  Lola says getting up and following James out the back. Mum joins us and smiles
 
  "Let's do this, the vans outside. Mum when you lift Lucy bring her back here, tell her we will be home soon"
 
  We leave after that, deacon climbs into the armoured van and I get in the passenger side, we leave our territory and it takes around 15 minutes to get to their front gate. As we stop, 4 men heavily armed with guns step out and watch us suspiciously, Deacon rolls the window down and one of them steps forward.
 
  "We need to talk to your alpha, it's urgent"
 
  He frowns and looks to the others they shake their heads at him
 
  "Have no idea what you're talking about. Please leave"
 
  "Yes you do and 1 of my men are dead and 2 other patrols have been taken and they passed your border Territory. I know you lot don't like to mix with our lot but I'm just trying to find my people and I will leave you after that. Please May I speak to your alpha"
 
  The man studies us then looks to the others. He nods to one of them and his face screws up annoyed.
 
  "Wait here, who else is with you and are you armed? We will need to search you and your people and your van. State who is with you now"
 
  Deacon groans and rolls his eyes
 
  "My Luna, our beta male and female, my father inlaw and mother inlaw and the alpha and Luna of our sister pack, they are your neighbours on the other side and as for being armed I'm not hang on"
 
  He puts his finger up and looks behind us
 
  "Anyone here armed? He's going to search us anyway so be honest"
 
  "Just a pocket knife, I don't think their is anything in the van but if there is I'm sure they will find it"
 
  "You hear that?"
 
  Deacon says to the man, he nods
 
  "Get out all of you and line up over there"
 
  I roll my eyes already bored of this, I climb out of the van and open the back door, Deacon walks to my side immediately and takes my hand and walks with me to the side of the road. I wonder if they know we are bulletproof, or that our skin is armour.

  I pull my jacket off and hand it to the other guard pointing to it. He shakes it around then drops it on the ground I growl
 
  "Respect the leather dude!"
 
  I grab it off the ground and hand it to deacon as the guard searching him finishes up and moves on to me. I spread my legs and raise my arms, the man goes to search me and deacon grabs his shoulder and looks him square in the eye pushing all his alpha power on him
 
  "You linger and you die"
 
  The man's eyes widens but he nods and quickly searches me not lingering on anything and then he moves on. When he's gone deacon opens my jacket and I put it back on as a jeep comes to the other side of the gate. A man that I can only describe as Jason Momoa's better looking younger brother climbs out. I hear Isla whistle from behind me and I snort and laugh as Jake growls and covers her eyes. He walks over all broody and jumps the gate. His hair is long and dirty blonde, he wears it on a bun on his head, he's huge, like an actual giant and his arms and naked chest are covered in tattoos, his body is just muscle and nothing else. His dark shorts hung low on his hips and he wore doc marten boots that normally wouldn't look good as a combination but I'm guessing anything would look good on that damn body.
 
  "As if I haven't seen you gawking at other girls, leave me be I'm allowed to enjoy the view"
 
  This time Deacon laughs to, by the time the man approaches us, half of us and one of his own men are sniggering.
 
  "Why have you got her eyes covered"
 
  The man says towards Jake, Isla groans
 
  "Damn even his voice is sexy"
 
  I snort out a laugh and try to hold back tears as the man goes bright red and Jake growls and pulls Isla behind him
 
  "Isla I swear say another word and you won't walk for a week"
 
  "You say that like it's a bad thing"
 
  I have to turn away and hunch over grabbing my knees as tears run down my cheek and the man goes bright red and looks at everything but Isla.
 
  "I apologise alpha my betas are obviously not use to company, I'm deacon and this one here"
 
  He nudges me and I take deep steadying breaths and stand up and look at the man.
 
  "This is my Luna"
 
  I hold out my hand and try to be an adult but it's hard
 
  "I am sorry my sister just makes me laugh at the worst possible moments"
 
  "Your quite all right, it's good to laugh and I appreciate the sentiment at least"
 
  I nearly choke as Jake growls at him and Isla bursts out laughing. I'm still randomly holding the man's hand as I take into another fit of giggles and snorts. The man chuckles with me as deacon steps forward and grabs our hands and separates us making it all funnier
 
  "I really am sorry I wish I could say they aren't always like this but I would be lying"
 
  I try to calm myself again and wipe my face of the tears.
 
  "Ok we'll maybe you could tell me how you found out about us and why you are here?"
 
  Suddenly the laughter stops and we all stand up straighter. I talk before deacon has a chance to surprising the man but this was my idea so I want to be the one to talk
 
  "Well one of our patrols died this morning, straight after his mate killed herself and the 2 others on patrol were taken and they had 2 trails. One a distraction trail that led nowhere and another trail started around 40ft from the killing and went across your border. And because your lawyer called us a pack of savages we knew you knew about us"
 
  He frowns and looks up the line
 
  "Although after spending the first few moments laughing in your face I can see where they got that idea from"
 
  The man chuckles and nods as I continue
 
  "So then the boys had the idea to scout the border of your place to see if they came out the other side but because we know they are hiding their scent we won't know but then the boys droned the place and we guessed your the elusive Lycan clan because your wolves are all one colour so instead of just stepping on your toes I thought it would be easier if we just came and talked to you. Plus we know one of them is your pack, they came from our pack many years ago she is called Gemma. The other is the serial killer that kidnapped me and Islas mate and we think she's back for revenge and has help from Gemma for some reason"
 
  He crosses his arms and looks down at me, he probably was intimidating but I wasn't intimidated
 
  "So YOU thought it was best to just come here and ask instead of what?"
 
  "Instead of sending our best in to scout the area but that was before we realised you are pack or shifters or whatever you call yourselves, so we just thought fuck it let's go talk to the man and hope he's reasonable enough to come on his land and search for our missing injured pack members and in return we will never speak of your location or of your kind to anyone ever unless Ofcourse it happens again and we need to come back here again"
 
  "And why would it happen again?"
 
  He was walking back and forth in front of me with his arms crossed all brooding and sexy. Not as hot as deacon but definitely up there.
 
  "Because I seem to get kidnapped a lot, me and Isla both, so I really can't promise you that it won't happen again because the crazy's just seem drawn to us"
 
  "Yeah she's right they love us"
 
  Isla adds seriously
 
  "I wonder why"
 
  He says with a smirk and a chuckle.
 
  "Ehh rude, and here's me thinking I could have taken a second mate"
 
  Jake growls and lifts her up. The man's eyes widen and he goes bright red again, I slap my hand over my mouth to stop the laugh.
 
  "I'm taking her home I will be back"
 
  "No no no no I promise I'll be good I'm just joking Jake stop being so grumpy"
 
  "I know you are joking but I still don't think it's funny"
 
  He snaps back putting her back on her feet.
 
  "Anywho my name is alpha Jax and as long as you are unarmed your people Can come on our land and my men will help go round the border and see if your people are here or if they past through and alpha deacon and Luna—"
 
  "Ailm"
 
  Deacon answers, Jax freezes and looks me over then his eyes move to my hands,
 
  "Hold out your hands all of you"
 
  I smirk and hold them out and turn them so he could see our Ailm
  Marks
 
  "What are you?"
 
  I let my hand ignite and I roll my wrist as one of his men freaks out and fumbles with his gun. It fires and hits me in the heart, bouncing off my chest. Deacon growls and launches for him As Jax's eyes never leave my hand, I sent the fire into the air and spelled out 'your mans to dumb to hold a gun'
 
  "Deacon leave him, he didn't mean it and I'm sure the alpha will deal
  With him we have people to find"
 
  The man had his hands in the air as deacon circled him. My fire was still in the air and I let it fall like raindrops. The alpha shook his head and looked at the man.
 
  "Why did you shoot her?"
 
  "It was an accident"
 
  "An accident that could have fucking killed her if she wasn't bullet proof"
 
  Deacon growls, I walk to him and hug him. He is fuming and I'm surprised smoke isn't coming off his body as he relaxes and pulls me back to the alpha, never letting me go.
 
  "I expect you to deal with him"
 
  "Tony come here"
 
  The man looked terrified as he eyed the others who looked just as pissed at him then his alpha did. He swallowed the lump in his throat and walked towards us.
 
  "Gun"
 
  He holds his hand out and takes the gun then walks behind him
 
  "Apologies"
 
  He said by his ear, the man trembled as he looked at me
 
  "I'm so sorry Luna I really didn't mean it"
 
  "It's fine"
 
  I waved him off but he stands there like a statue and closes his eyes then Jax takes his head and breaks his neck and lets his limp body fall to the floor
 
  "You didn't need to do that!"
 
  I shout at him, he raises an eyebrow at me and I can feel his aura wash over me and I laugh
 
  "Oh please iv ate bigger auras for breakfast, can we go before you kill anymore of your men, and just so you know it was your fault for giving the knob a gun in the first place"
 
  I stomp back to the car, his eyes are wide as I jump into the passenger seat and slam the door. I put the window down and lean out.
 
  "Get in, and I also want to know where Gemma lives"
 
  Everyone else climbs into the car, I roll up the window as Jax turns and nods to his men, one comes and drags the dead man away as the others open up the gate, he climbs into his car as another load of his men arrive.
 
  "You're crazy, you know that? What if he tried to kill you for talking back to him"
 
  "Don't even care, so sick of fucking men running around killing people for no damn reason"
 
  I snap back pissed Of
 
  "He did shoot you in the heart ailm"
 
  Luca says, I look back at him
 
  "Even so it was an obvious accident, I'm not pissed at him I'm pissed at the stupid bastard that trusted that fumbling fuckhead with a gun in the first place. Who fucking does that! Who is that clumsy"
 
  Deacon chuckles beside me and pulls up beside a parked jax, I roll the window down again.
 
  "Your people can get out here and look around the border I will take some of you to gemma's house"
 
  "We will go"
 
  I smirk as Jake drags Isla out of the car with him, mum and dad climb out with Luca
 
  "I'll stay with them, remember your aura can put them all on their ass if they try anything"
