  Aspen whispers to Luca, he kisses her and jumps away following the rest of them, aspen closes the door and sits forward and squeezes my shoulder
 
  "Don't let that annoy you, for all we know they can bring him back from the dead. They do it to all the people they take"
 
  That was a good point
 
  "If anything it could be just a show of dominance to make him look scary as hell"
 
  "He's not that scary aspen"
 
  I say back to her. She shrugs
 
  "Yeah not to us, but to a normal wolf I'd say they would shake on the spot"
 
  "She's right, before you I'd probably shit my pants in front of him"
 
  I chuckle
 
  "Maybe. So what happens if we find Gemma?"
 
  "We find out what she wants"
 
  We follow Jax through his town, people stop and watch as we drive through. All the houses were huge and the shops were just as big. It looked like a real town with bakeries, coffee shops and large department stores. It's almost as big as Ardens pack and some of the shops are but it's crazy how they have hidden for all these years. We pull out a dirt road and drive through a more remote area with bigger houses. He stops at the last one; it's not as big as the others. We stop and climb out beside him.
 
  "My father ran things differently than me, he allowed our people to do what they want including take in mates from other packs without their permission. When I was 16 I killed him and took over the pack but before then his beta had taken this girl, she went back and forth spying on your packs, he was planning on challenging me and taking the alpha spot and then going to war and taking over your packs. It was stupid and their was no reason for it, we have everything we need but he challenged me and I killed him to. Gemma has been a bit of an outcast since and out of everyone of my people if she's involved it wouldn't surprise me."
 
  I sniff the air and I immediately smell our pack.
 
  "They are here"
 
  "What can you smell?"
 
  Deacon says sniffing the air, aspen sniffs the air to and shrugs, I look to Jax who looks puzzled to, I roll my eyes and follow it
 
  "Your noses must be broken, come on let's get them back"
 
  I follow the scent around the back of the house, it gets stronger
 
  "Seriously, what are you smelling?"
 
  "I can smell Bonny and marshall"
 
  I follow the scent to a garage attached to the house. I pull on the string and it opens. Their scents hit me in the face and the 3 of them freeze
 
  "How did you smell that? She covered their scent?"
 
  I shrug and open the door fully, the evening sun shines in and lights the space up. A woman lays on a cot sleeping as my people are tied to chairs, deacon runs in and unties them but they are badly beaten and passed out. I run to them and slap Bonnie's face, one eye opens and she gasps
 
  "Luna is that you?"
 
  "Yes I'm here to get you out of here. Is anything broken?"
 
  She shakes her head
 
  "No, I'll be fine when the wolfsbane leaves my system, is marsh ok?"
 
  "He's fine Bonny, come I'll help you to the car"
 
  Aspen says helping them both up and walking them outside. I point to the girl and look at Jax
 
  "Is that one of yours?"
 
  He shakes his head and walks to the door pulling out a key
 
  "No, I'll see if gemma's inside"
 
  "Go with him incase he lets her go"
 
  Jax pauses and looks at me then at a smirking deacon
 
  "You are very bossy"
 
  "You have no idea friend"
 
  Deacon says tapping his shoulder, I smirk and go to the girl who had somehow slept through everything. I sniffed her and realisation hit me, it was her clothes he used to dress us. That's where I smelled her before. I look around and see tape that she had used on my people. I grab it and tape her to the cot, how she didn't wake up was beyond me but she snores away sleeping peacefully and only stirs when I tape her last leg to the cot
 
  "What the, what? Who are? Ohhh YOU!"
 
  She tries to get up, but growls and snaps at me, when she realises she can't go anywhere. Deacon comes out behind me with another girl, he throws her on the chair and I give him the tape, he takes it as Jax walks out and leans against the wall.
 
  "Look I'm sorry Jax, she's my cousin, I had to help"
 
  He snorts and shakes his head
 
  "You made your bed now you can lay in it"
 
  Chris's mate growls at me.
 
  "You! You fucking killed him you witch"
 
  "Yes I did and I enjoyed every second of it. After all he did kidnap me and put me in the back of a lorry"
 
  She shakes her head
 
  "Bullshit, he wouldn't do that. You ran off with him then when you got caught you killed him to cover your tracks"
 
  I burst out laughing, I throw my head back and chuckle to myself
 
  "Oh you fool! You have no idea. He kidnaps us because we made him 'feel stuff'"
 
  I use air quotes at feel stuff then continue
 
  "He had us trapped and you know what's hilarious? I recognise your scent of the clothes he gave us. He took your clothes and gave them to us both then told us he rejected you because he couldn't feel the matebond, then he kidnapped 2 girls because he thought we had something in common because we were rejects just like him. So he thought ok I'll steal them from their mates, their FATED mates and keep them for myself. You do realise how fucking stupid you are? How do you trust someone who is a psychopath? So yes I killed him. I burned him alive slowly and I'd do it again and again and I'd watch it with damn popcorn everytime. And then you think it's ok to come to MY PACK"
 
  I point to my chest and take her by the throat and squeeze it
 
  "MY FUCKING PACK! Kill one of my men and kidnap 2 others? What exactly were you trying to achieve?"
 
  I squeezes her neck and she chokes so I let her go to talk, she spits at me and I chuckle
 
  "Oh you stupid stupid mutt"
 
  I grab her throat again but this time not tightly and I heat up my hand, she starts to scream as it burns her neck then I pull back
 
  "What were you trying to achieve?"
 
  "Trying to make you hurt like I hurt"
 
  She screams out at me.
 
  "Yeah well I wouldn't wish on anyone what way he made us feel and still does. He might be dead but his damn ghost still haunts me everywhere we go. So I'm going to do you a favour and I'm not going to do that to you instead I'm just going to burn you alive like your mate"
 
  "No no no please noooooo"
 
  I chuckle and raise both hands and roll them bringing the fire into a ball, I roll my hands again and make the balls bigger then I smash them together and I show her a memory of him forcing me onto the bed and kissing me as I scream and fight under him. Tears prick at my eyes at the memory. After it's finished playing the memory I push it out above her and I slowly drop the fire on her like raindrops. She screams bloody murder as my fire consumes her slowly eating her alive. I step back and look at Gemma, her cousin.
 
  "What are you going to do with her?"
 
  I ask Jax, he shrugs, never taking his eyes off the rain of fire slowly dripping over Chris's mate.
 
  "Do what you will, she killed 2 of yours so you can kill her"
 
  I look to deacon, he watches her, ready to kill her.
 
  "Do you want me to kill her?"
 
  I ask him he shakes his head and lights his own hand rolling his wrist, gemma's eyes go wide as he pushes his fire out and lets it consume her whole, she is reduced to dust in seconds. I turn and let the rest on my fire fall on Chris's mate and soon her own screams stop and her body falls on the floor in a pile of ash. I stretch and yawn then go to deacon, who holds out his arms. I rest on him as he talks
 
  "You should come for dinner with our pack, bring whoever you want with you to make you feel comfortable but it would be really useful that I know you if something like this does happen again. Plus if you truly want to change things maybe it's a good first step. Socialising with the savages"
 
  Jax chuckles and nods
 
  "Yes although I don't know where you got that from"
 
  "The savage thing? We were trying to buy this land before we knew of you all and your lawyer said he wouldn't sell to savages like ourselves"
 
  Jax shakes his head and kicks a stone across the concrete ground
 
  "Nah that's what he says to everyone trying to buy the place. It usually stops them from asking any further but dinner would be good. It would be nice to have people around that aren't afraid of me"
 
  I snort and roll my eyes
 
  "Yes apparently you're intimidating but I can't see it?"
 
  He laughs and shakes his head pointing at me
 
  "See that there, no one has the balls to say that to my face so yeah it would be cool to have people like you lot as friends instead of foes"
 
  "We'll just don't like it to much and kidnap me and we will be good I'm really over it at this point"
 
  Deacon and him both laugh at me, I was being deadly serious but whatever's
 
  "Anyways come for dinner tomorrow at say 6:30, the men will show you the way to our house and Isla will be their so you should probably prepare yourself for all that"
 
  Deacon says, rolling his eyes and pulling me into his chest.
 
  "Yes she's entertaining to say the least"
 
  He shows us out of the garage so we follow after
 
  "You have no idea, that was her in public, you should hear them in private"
 
  I mumble back thinking about the arguments in our house because of her mouth. As we come out all of our people are back and climbing into the car.
 
  "Thanks Jason"
 
  Isla winks at Jax, he looks confused
 
  "Isla I warned you"
 
  Jake scolds her
 
  "Who's Jason?"
 
  Jax says to me and deacon
 
  "Jason momoa, she watches him obsessively on tv and thinks you look like him, you should probably get use to it because she will call you it forever"
 
  "See you tomorrow"
  
  Deacon says to him, opening my car door for me. I jump in and wave to Jax as deacon closes the door, deacon gets in and we head home. I smile and look through the mirror making eye contact with Isla
 
  "So he's coming for dinner tomorrow night"
 
  "Shut up"
 
  "No he can't. I'll kill him, Ailm please. Her mouth has not stopped since she first saw him and her mind is even worse. I know she's joking but I'm going to kill him"
 
  I chuckle and shake my head at the pair of nincompoops
 
  "Isla you will be on your best behaviour when he comes"
 
  Deacon says with a smile on his face I snort. As if.
 
  "Seriously if anyone could work out how to shut my mouth up I'd really like to know how but I see someone hot and my mouth just won't stop them my brain sees how pissed Jake gets and it just flaps wider. I'll do my best but I'm not promising shit"
 
  "At least you're honest"
 
  I reply, laying back on the chair with a yawn. Deacon takes my hand and kisses it and I can feel the heat slowly rise in my body again.
 
  "You better go quick cause Marsh  is about to go rabid, my heats picking up"
 
  "Awe crap"
 
  He comes to the border and they let us through with no issues and when we get to the road deacon floors it, we make it in 8 minutes just as I start to get uncomfortable again. Deacon stops the car inside the border
 
  "Out marshall the lunas in heat and it's about to get worse"
 
  Bonny and marshall jump out without question as I start to squirm in my seat, the fabric of my clothes were itchy and annoying
 
  "Don't take them off"
 
  I growl at him annoyed. He drives faster than i've ever seen him go before and we get home in minutes. He jumps out of the car still running and grabs me from the passenger side and runs me into the house and down to our room where he fucks me senseless. When we were done I put on his shirt and shorts and I went to welcome Lucy, as we walked in the place smelled of food and my stomach rumbled.
 
  "Well the fuckers have stopped fucking! I missed your face sister"
 
  I run and meet Lucy out on the deck, drink in one hand joint in the other. Her parents were gammas of the pack but her father hated packlife. He grew up a rogue so they moved to Bora Bora. We see her every few months but I haven't seen her since last year. She's crazy as sin but thankfully not in the same way as us but she's a damn good fighter and an active primordial but she doesn't have a death wish like me or Isla.
 
  "It's so good to have you here! Welcome home"
 
  "Thanks for letting me come, now that I'm nearly 18 the old pair said I can come try pack life so I appreciate you putting me up"
 
  I take her joint and smoke a little
 
  "It's no problem, we love to have you. You can stay here for now but there is plenty of room in the packhouse is you would rather that or there is plenty of houses to choose from"
 
  "Here for now, I need to get to know these boys that finally tamed you both"
 
  I chuckle as deacon comes and shakes her hand, Jake has Isla on his knee and he looks a little afraid of her.
 
  "So now that your all here I have news"
 
  Aspen claps her hands happily getting our attention, I turn to face her as Luca comes up behind her and wraps his hands around her placing his hand on her stomach. I gasp excitedly
 
  "We are having twins"
 
  She squeals and I run and pull her into a hug, Isla quickly follows and we both place a hand on her belly. I have tears in my eyes, aspen has wanted a baby from before Arthur died so to finally see her have that is a little overwhelming
 
  "I'm so happy for you both"
 
  I pull Luca into a hug next wiping my face of tears.
 
  "Me to"
 
  Isla full on cries moving to hug Luca next as well.
 
  "Your both going to be amazing parents, you really really are"

  20 hours later....
 
  Lucy's POV
 
  It had taken months for my parents to agree for me to come live with the pack. I love it here but dad has always hated pack life and hierarchy and all that bullshit. I personally didn't mind it and I was so happy they finally let me come. Mum just found out she was pregnant again so that spurred Their decision to let me come early, I was never going to find a mate on a deserted island, it was lonely growing up there watching my parents so In love all the time, it's a hard pill to swallow so I was happy to come back and find my own way. I sat on the deck waiting for the girls to finish getting ready for some dinner. Isla hasn't shut up about the meatball that was coming, completely harmless but she loved to watch Jake's reaction and I had to agree it was fun to make him squirm.
