CHAPTER SIX
I continued to run again, as I now have been for five minutes since I took a break. I scanned my surroundings as I ran...
And something snapped me out of the running trance I was in.
Something bright and shiny lay on the ground. Something so bright, it practically blind my eyes in an instant...this object was quite small. I inched towards the object as it glistened in the sun, and my view finally came into focus.
There in the ground....Lay a bey.
"A-a bey?" I asked myself. What was a bey doing just lying in the grass for no reason? I leaned over to examine the bey.
What I saw almost made me pass out. I had to re-focus my vision.
"T-Tempo?"
What was my old Tempo doing here? "Tempo... I thought this bey was destroyed a long time ago..."
Tempo...The only bey like this in existence. A one-of-a-kind bey. No one could ever create a bey like this.
I knew this was the real thing.
But what was Tempo doing just lying on the ground like this?
I picked the bey up, and an aura began to glow around as it reacted to my touch. An echoing voice seemed to hum all around my mind. A wave of dizziness made me feel nauseous, and I almost had to lean on the nearby tree a few feet away.
A voice began to sing in my mind, a chill was rattling my spine in surprise. "Who's there?"
The voice sounded warm and soothing, almost like an angel was flying me to heaven.
"Don't worry, Toby, I'm here. Still here, yes, I am here Toby!"
"What...?"
"Look in your bey!"
Puzzled, I looked at Tempo. A face came into my vision in Tempo. She only appeared for a few seconds. A smile spread across her face before she disappeared. I blinked a few times before looking at my Tempo once again.
"That is right Toby...I am here. I am in this beyblade."
I gasped. Celeste.... In.... Tempo?
"Together, Toby. Together we can become number one! Will you except this challenge with me?"
Tears filled my swollen eyes. "Celeste... Glow for me if you are really in Tempo."
Tempo glowed a bright aura. "I am here Toby... And I am now Celestial Tempo. When you launch me, you will see my aura. I am Tempo, and I am good."
I hugged Tempo tight, pinching myself to make sure this was reality.
And it was.
"Let's be number one. With Zeo and Masamune too!"
I turned around, and began to walk back to my home...
