Chapter 6

THIRD POV

Boruto now walking in hokage's office, Naruto turned his head to his son who's standing before him. He asked, "So what's wrong? Did something happen?" Boruto was going to explain, but someone knocked on the hokage's door. Naruto released a deep sigh and said "Come in"

Konohamaru along with team 9 walked in, Himawari looked at Boruto with a big grin on her face and ran straight to him. She hugged him tight, "You didn't tell me you're already here!" she's drowning her face in his shoulder.

Boruto hugged her back while stroking her back, "I just got back, idiot. I need to talk about few things with Dad."

Then, Konohamaru cut their conversation, saying "Hey guys, we need to report our mission, please pause this sweet drama" he sweatdropped. Himawari let go her hug, pouted.

Naruto chuckled, "Come on, Hima. You can talk to your brother after this."

Team 9, then, reported their mission. Naruto listened to them seriously, Boruto just watched there beside Naruto. After that, Naruto finally said, "Thanks, guys. You're dismissed." he smiled to the team.

"I'm staying! Bye, guys!" Himawari waved to her teammate and sensei when they walked out of the office. She then turned her head to Boruto, "So, can I hear the talk?"

Boruto nodded, "It has something to do with you, so yes of course." he smiled. Now, he's looking at Naruto seriously "Dad, I met an Uchiha when I was walking around our campsite, the night after we departed from Konoha."

"What? Who? There's only Sasuke and Sarada, and I'm sure it wasn't them." Naruto frowned.

"He claimed himself as Uchiha Shin. He said that he needed me and Himawari for his father's plan, the revival of Akatsuki." Naruto was surprised to hear this, he put his hand on the table, Boruto continued, "He didn't explain any further, but I already told this to Granny Yamato, he said he was going to look for another information on this."

"What is this Akatsuki? Is it dangerous?" asked Himawari.

"It's an organization that led to the Fourth Great Ninja War, that's what Granny Yamato told me. But, Dad knows a lot more than this, I guess. Dad?" Boruto now looking at his dad, he seemed like he's thinking deeply, like he didn't even listen to what Boruto and Himawari just said.

Himawari was worried looking at her dad like that, she held his hand, "Dad? Is everything okay?"

Naruto startled a bit, then he smiled to his daughter who's standing right in front of him, "I'll protect you always, sweetheart. Don't worry about it, okay?" He looked at Boruto, "Do you get anything else from him?"

"He has this small creature with just one wide eye and it uses teleportation jutsu. Also, he said we'll see each other again." said Boruto.

Naruto nodded, "I'll ask Sasuke to look for another leads about this. Until then, I can't assign you to any mission, and that goes for you too, Hima. You-"

"What? But why, Dad? It's not fair!" Himawari pouted.

"We can take care of ourselves, Dad." said Boruto calmly.

Silence for a while, then Naruto sighed, "Alright, I'll find a way, okay? At least, for now, please take care of each other, will you? Bolt, protect your sister. I'll protect you, guys. Now, go home and tell mom to get here as soon as she can." Concerns are all over his face, but he still managed to smile to his children.

"Come on, Sunflower." Boruto took Himawari's hand and dragged her to the door. He looked at Dad before walking out, "We'll be fine, Dad. I promise."

Naruto smiled once again, "I know. Just be safe, alright?"

Boruto nodded and Himawari waved to Naruto while saying, "Bye, Dad! Don't go home late, we love you!" Himawari grinned and Naruto just smiled to them.

--Time Skip--

Himawari and Boruto were finally arrived at their house. Boruto already told his mom to go see Naruto and she left right away. Now, he's standing at their own training field together with his sister. "Alright sis, show me your Byakugan!"

"Of course!" she made some hand seals, and finally "Byakugan!" her veins bulged around her eyes. She grinned at her brother.

Boruto looked at his sister with excitement, "That's cool, Hima! Just wait!" he made the unique hand seal, "Multiple Shadow Clone Jutsu!" hundreds of Boruto appeared in smoke. They started to do Byakugan.

Himawari just stood there, watching his brother train. Sometimes she yelled at the crowd if they started to give up. She went through the same thing before, but her mom always giving her courage when she trained. Yep, while Boruto going on his mission, she was training her Byakugan with Hinata.

After few hours, it was almost dark, she said to the panting crowd, "Release them, Bolt. Time to gain your experience."

Then, "Release!" said Boruto. He's breathing heavily.

Himawari approached him, "You okay?"

Boruto just nodded, took a deep breath, then he made the handseals, "Byakugan!" veins were bulged around his eyes. "See? I did it!" he gave a big smile to his sister. It was deactivated after few seconds.

"You're out of chakra, idiot." Himawari chuckled but she was happy though. "Come on, let's get inside." she put his brother's arm around her shoulder, helped him going inside the house. She then put him on the couch, "I'll get you something to drink."

"Thanks, Sunflower." he smiled to her.

She's walking to the fridge and took 2 bottles of water and gave it to Boruto. He drank the whole bottle without stopping. Himawari gigled, "Slow down, Bolt!"

"I'm dying!" Bolt pouted, ready to drink the second bottle.

She laughed for a while, then she changed her face into a serious look, "Is this Akatsuki is dangerous?"

Boruto almost chocked, he coughed a bit, then answered, "I don't know, Hima. But I think it's not a good thing, just look at Dad. He seems concerned."

"Is he really after us? Why us?" she asked.

Boruto shook his head, "I don't know, really." Then he ruffled his sister's hair, "Don't worry, nothing bad is going to happen to you, I'll protect you with everything I can." he smiled.

"Geez, I'm strong enough, Bolt! Stop treating me like a child!" she pouted.

Boruto just laughed, "No can do, I can't do that." he kissed her forehead, then went upstairs.

BORUTO POV

After taking a nice hot shower, I got dressed on my sleep attire. Then, I heard "Bolt!" from downstairs. Hima? I ran out of my bedroom and jumped down, stood right beside my sister.

I was surprised to see Uchiha Shin in front of us, a little bit far. I got into my fighting stance, Himawari just stood beside me, shaking, her eyes was full of fears. Genjutsu? I thought, "Release!" I touched her forehead.

Himawari startled, but she was still in shock, she looked like she couldn't even move a muscle.

Shin suddenly started to move, approaching us, "We finally meet again, Uzumaki Boruto." he smirked. "So this is your sister?"

"What the hell do you want from us?" I asked, I took a kunai from Himawari's pouch.

Now, Shin standing right in front of us, I could see his eyes, he doesn't look like he's going to kill us. "I told you, you're important for the plan."

"Which part?" I looked at his eyes.

"Just come with me, I'll take you to my father." Then, the same small one wide eye creature appeared and ready to take us with them with teleportation jutsu.

I was going to pull Himawari to get out from his teleportation range when suddenly 2 bright orange glowing hands dragged us away.
