Chapter 8

THIRD POV

It had been a week since the encounter of Uchiha Shin. Nothing happened, both Boruto and Himawari was sent to missions with ANBUs guarding them. Well, Naruto still thinking that it's not safe for them to wander around alone. He always says "We don't know how powerful is this Uchiha guy." Sasuke also been sent out from the village to look for any information according to the Revival of Akatsuki plan. Sometimes, Yamato also went to the village, reporting what he got, but still no sign of Shin's movement. Naruto was also busy as the Hokage since the Chuunin Exam will be held soon, but Hinata has always been on Naruto's side, along with Shikamaru. Sometimes, the preparation of this Chuunin Exam enough to take his mind away from the Revival of Akatsuki thing.

HIMAWARI POV

"Hey, Hima!" said Konohamaru-sensei who suddenly appeared right in front of me. I was waiting for him at the training ground this noon. He grinned at me.

"Geez, sensei. You're late like about an hour." I pouted.

He laughed, "I'm sorry, I got caught up-"

"Save it" I cut him.

He giggled, then he was like observing me, "You're awfully grumpy today, what's wrong?"

"Dad didn't allow me to take the chuunin exam" I sighed.

"Well, back then when he was taking the chuunin exam, something awful happened to the village. Probably that's leaving some kind of trauma on him." he smiled and held my shoulder. "You know our situation, right? Moreover, that situation might really brought you and your brother in danger, I don't think he can risk that."

"Yeah, I know, Mom told me that story before." I sighed again. "So, why did you call me here?"

"I think I can take your mind away a bit from the chuunin exam. Interested?" he smiled.

"Depends, are you going to teach me a new jutsu?" I asked.

He shook his head. "Nope, not a new one, but more like a development."

"Not interested" I turned around to walk away. After few steps, I felt the wind was blowing pretty hard. I turned my head to see sensei and amazed with what on his hand. It was a rasengan, but a really big one. I never seen dad use that rasengan ever before. My eyes widened. "Teach me that!"

The rasengan on his hand started to vanish, then he laughed. "I know you'll be interested. Alright, let's start right away."

"Of course! What should I do first?" I got ready.

"Just add more chakra at your rasengan without losing the shape transformation itself. But, still, easier said than done. Give it shot!" said Konohamaru-sensei.

I started to make my usual rasengan on my right hand. Add more chakra, I said to myself. It started to get a little bit bigger when suddenly it's losing its shape and vanished. "Ugh, it won't be easy." I grumbled in frustration.

Meanwhile...

THIRD POV

Team 6, with 2 ANBUs, but without Sasuke, now standing on the gate, Sarada sighed in relief, "Finally, another mission is done!"

Boruto looked at the ANBUs, "You may go now, we're already in the village." his voice hardened by sarcasm, couldn't hide his annoyed feeling with them guarding around. Well, he's the leader of the team, he had the right to shoo them away. Then, the ANBU scattered away.

"They're the one who protect us, Bolt. Be nice to them." Yukio uttered.

"We were able to take down our enemy back then, without them!" said Boruto still with sarcasm in his voice. But then, he sighed, "Sorry, I know that." Realizing that it's not Yukio or Sarada's fault.
