Chapter 16

HIMAWARI POV

"If I tell you that I'm an Uzumaki, will you really kill me?" I asked as firm as I can.

I could tell she stood there in surprise, but then, she scanned my face, "That whisker mark-"

"Yes, I'm Uzumaki Himawari to be exact. As far as I know, your boss won't be happy if I'm dead." I stood straight.

Ryuu walked towards me, "What do you mean?"

I shook my head to him, "Later." The woman gave us an unreadable expression, but then, she left without a word. "Geez, coward."

"What the hell was that?" Hayate stood in front of me.

"Let's get back to Bolt, then I'll explain." I said as I waved my hand.

BORUTO POV

We're still standing in our fighting stance, keeping us alert to any attack. My byakugan still scanning the whole area, but unfortunate that it hasn't improving so much, so I could only see through only about 50 meters away. Suddenly, I saw a figure with his chakra from beside me along with clapping sound. I deactivated my byakugan to save my chakra since it needs a lot of it. The man from before was clapping his hands, saying "You girl, scary." he smirked again, to Sarada.

I, instinctively, standing before Sarada. She looked at my back, "Bolt."

"Don't worry, Sarada-chan" I turned my head to see her with concern all over her face, so I gave her a reassuring smile. I turned my head again, clenched my fist in anger when I see that man. "Who are you?"

"Oh, please introduce myself." He bowed his head to us and smiled, "My name's Ao and I'm here to kill you all for fun. You know, sometimes I need to have fun a little bit."

Yukio gritted his teeth as he let out a scroll and drew something. He looked at that man right into his eyes. Suddenly, his body froze, his eyes widened. I knew Yukio had cast genjutsu on him. Just in seconds, his kneel gave in as he fell on the ground still with his eyes widened.  I turned around, "Your genjutsu sure is scary, Kurama." I stared at him with fear.

"Thanks to my Kurama clan." He chuckled, "I'm not sure I'm able to kill him with this genjutsu, but I guess it's enough to buy us some times."

I nodded, "We need to find the others." I held Sarada's hand, "You okay?"

"I'm good" she blushed a little, making me giggled.

"Okay, then." I grinned at her, "Let's go!" Then, we left that poor man there and went up to branch, then we jumped from one to another.

THIRD POV

"They're close! Come on!" Hayate shouted as team 9 kept their pace approaching team 6. Not long after that, he shouted again, "Stop here!"

"Hima!" Boruto stopped right in front of her, hugged her tight like ever. "You okay? Are you hurt?" He whispered on his sister's ear.

Himawari hugged him back, drowning her face on Boruto's chest, she shook her head. She pushed him a little bit to scan her brother. "Geez, Bolt. What made you this dirty?"

He shook his head, "It's fine." Boruto ruffled Himawari's hair, smiling in relieved to see her safe. Then, he looked to all his comrades. "You guys okay? Is anyone hurt?"

"We're fine." answered Ryuu.

"Alright! We have to keep going before that stupid man awake from Yukio's genjutsu. How about the woman?" Boruto looked at Himawari.

She was silenced for a while, then she said, "About that, we need to discuss it later and also, I have some explanation to do to my team. But, let's just say she gave up on us, temporarily." She smiled to everyone there.
