We found our way out without being spotted, we rushed back to base and once we were behind closed doors, Mr. E went crazy.

I watched him pick up my chair and hit it against the ground, breaking it.

I would have said something angry, but I didn't have the energy to, so I just let him do his own thing.

He ranted on about trust, and betrayal, something about a light house. I tuned it out, just thinking of my chair that he HAD DESTROYED!

"Yeah, okay." I interrupted. "So what do we do?"

He slowly turned towards me.

"We burn that council to the ground." He glared.

"See? That's my attitude towards most things, see how good it feels?" I said.

He shook his head, fed up with me.

"You have no idea what I've gone through..." He scowled.

I tried to stay quiet, but I ended up laughing.

"Oh for-! Don't even try to act edgy, Mr. Pity party." I said. "I really don't care how your parents died or whatever happened to you."

"My parents-? I didn't have-... No, I meant-..." He struggled. "I was trying to begin opening up to you!"

"That sounded a lot more like brooding." I said. "Weirdo."

"You just-! do you even want to hear my story?!" He responded.

I was just going to let him finish, but he seemed to be waiting for me to respond.

"Uh... no?" I said. "I really don't care."

He glared at me for a bit before cooling off and walking away.

Right... burning the- how are we gonna do that?

"Hey." I said.

He ignored me.

"Visor-head." I said.

Again, nothing.

"Hey, 'E?"

Great. Again, he's ignoring me.

"Look! It's uh-..."

I think for a bit. There's nothing I can get his attention with, so I just continue to insult him.

"Nindroid LITE!" I said.

I saw him flinch a bit at that one. Too funny.

"Bronze-face!"

"It's copper." He muttered.

"Well that's just less valuable, id just stick with saying bronze-" I said. "Oh hey! I got your attention!"

He grumbled.

"What the hell do you want." He said.

"So... how are we going to burn them down to the ground..?" I asked.

"I thought you were the plan guy." He said

"Where'd you get that from? I'm the angry one, and the cooler one, and the more experienced one!"

"Fine. We..." he thought aloud.

"...we wait for them to take over, we follow them around as the spiders, 24/7... once we understand everything that their plan counts on, we should be able to take them out from the inside." He said.

"Good idea! we-"

...

"24/7?!" I exclaimed.

He shrugged. "What's the problem?"

"That's just-... so boring!"

"Suck it up, you child." He said. "We can go tomorrow."

"Alright, fine." I said. "But I make the next plan."

"Good!" He said. "Maybe I'll only do three quarters of the work!"

"Shut up. I help all the time." I said.

"This is a duo, not a supervillain and henchman." He glared.

"It's not?" I asked, surprised.

"You-... just... stop talking." He sighed.
