Nya helped, Kai was able to melt the ice and Nya was able to extract the water. The ninja wanted to stay and ask questions, but Wu told them to hurry up. It was just me, Cryptor, Nya, and Kai.

"That's the last of it." Nya huffed.

"So, you're telling me, they're on our side?" Kai asked again.

"Yes. They've proven themselves, Lloyd says. Saved his life." Nya smiled. "And I trust them too."

Kai sighed.

"Well, that's good enough for me, then. I think Zane seems pretty regretful."

Nya nodded at that.

"Okay, he may need to be fixed a bit, he looks pretty damaged. Has he been through anything else today that could have broken him?" She asked me.

I nodded.

"Okay, I'll have Pixal help him out while we debrief about the crystal council. I'll got get her." Nya smiled. "Come on Kai."

They met up with the rest of the ninja. I saw Pixal approaching slowly, as if unsure. I nodded to her, in hopes that she'd actually trust me a little bit. She walked down the stairs.

"Do you think you can help me carry him?" She asked. I nodded and picked Cryptor over my head. She offered to help but I shook my head. She and I walked over to a metal table. She brushed off some unfinished projects and I put him on the table.

I heard someone else walk over. Zane. He did do anything he just stood nearby. Watching.

"Of course I have to be the one to do this, why are we helping him anyways? We're better off if he stays like this." She muttered to herself.

I turned to her and stared her down. She looked away after eye contact was made.

"I-... I should help him regardless." She said. "I will have him ready soon."

She got to work. I stood by, watching my friend being repaired.

Hm. Who would have thought. He IS my friend, isn't he?

That's a nice feeling.
