Lyney did not have a jacket, gloves, and everything, like y/n had asked him.

Well, he had his signature thin, black gloves, but nothing else.

Seriously, it wasn't his fault! The weather forecast always lied. It's not like it had snowed for the past, what, seven days?

He walked alongside Lynette back to their house, their breaths emitting white plumes underneath the ever falling snow.

"I told you to bring a jacket this morning," Lynette remarked, noticing her brother's stiff posture.

"I didn't think it would snow again!" Lyney hissed through chattering teeth.

"Y'know," Lynette's mouth quirked into an uncharacteristic, teasing smirk, "I bet y/n would love to give you her gloves to warm your hands if she were here right now."

Lyney groaned and turned to glare back at his sister with red cheeks. "I'm gonna kill you."

"You would never."

His shoulders deflated, but stiffened again immediately as a response to the cold. "I would never," he echoed, sighing.

"How are you feeling about the concert?"

Lyney winced. The pressure of performing well for her had caused sleepless nights. "I'm kind of...anxious. But I'm excited, too."

"Hm." Lynette hummed, satisfied (he hoped). She paused, then asked, "What do you think y/n will think?"

Lyney whipped his head toward her. "You—"

The bag checkers outside the venue were unnecessarily scary, y/n thought.

Even though they were very nice and smiling, the checking itself made y/n fear that she accidentally packed an atom bomb in her mini backpack. Because everyone had those lying around, right?

The bitter, cold, winter air sent a chill down y/n's spine, but she was still ecstatic. Bouncing up and down quickly to stay warm, she watched the checkers analyze her bag.

One of the men in black suits smiled at her. "You're good to go, Miss. Enjoy the concert."

She took her mini backpack, "Thank you!"

Thankfully, the inside of the venue was much warmer than the outside. After finding her entrance, she walked down the rows and rows—jeez this was colossal venue—of seats before finding hers in the front.

Yeah, a front row view. Did it cost 200,000 mora? Was it worth it? The answer to both of those is "yes."

She checked her phone.

19:29, the concert started in exactly one minute.

The anticipation made time move excruciatingly slow. Y/n thought the concert was delayed until people started counting down.

Three.

Lyney stared at the curtains that shielded his and Lynette's view of the audience. The crowd began to count down outside, making Lyney's heart beat faster and his forehead break into a sweat. He steeled himself.

"Ready?" Lynette stood next to him.

"Ready," he gripped the microphone next to his ear.

Two.

Y/n looked up as the lights darkened and the lights changed to a red, pink, blue, and teal color scheme. She grinned with excitement.
