Sweet and Sour

stop talking — day6

After Inhyuk's lovely surprise visit, they left and caught the bus going towards central downtown where they were going to meet Sihyun and Jungwon for the evening. The plan was to check out the indoor park and then for a late night snack once they were finished there since she knew Yejin would get hungry from running around there. Then, Jungwon's sister would thankfully give them a ride back home since she would be in the area for work.

When they arrived, they were the first to get there so Jiyeon purchased their wrist bands and time slot while they waited so they could enter once the other two got there.

The excited face and hyper movements Yejin had on made Jiyeon feel a bit better, glad that she pushed away all her emotions and gave Yejin the time and effort she deserved. If she had to endure the hardships of their life while Yejin got the good parts, Jiyeon wouldn't complain once. She'd endure it for the rest of their life if it meant Yejin got to enjoy life by her side. Yejin wasn't just her sister, she was her lifeline.

When Yejin jumped off of the bench where they were sitting, it caught her attention. She ran up to Sihyun and Jungwon waving towards her with bright smiles. Jiyeon also got up to meet the two so she could hand them their own wristbands to indicate they're with someone as a chaperone.

They found a table and dropped their things down, Yejin tugged at Jungwon's shirt, telling him to follow her to the jungle gym so she could go play finally.

"What drink do you want?" Jiyeon asked before he could be pulled away.

"Whatever you guys get, I'll just take that." He blurted out before Yejin was able to tug him towards the other side of the place.

"Will you come with me or should I just order for you?" Jiyeon asked Sihyun.

"Let me come with you to help bring all the drinks back to the table, and I also might've seen a cutie working the coffee bar." Sihyun wiggled her eyebrows. Jiyeon let a chuckle out.

While Sihyun barked up a conversation with the said cutie, Jiyeon ordered the three drinks for them and a smoothie for Yejin to drink in between playing.

She didn't want to disturb the conversation Sihyun was enjoying with the barista, so she grabbed the drinks in her arms and made her way back to the table. Jungwon was deep in the playground with her sister and Sihyun was back at the coffee bar, so she just sat on their table sipping her drink while looking around.

"Guess who got some digits!" Sihyun ran up to her like she was a kid in a candy shop, a piece of paper in her hands flying around between her fingers. "He was sweet and charming, but also kinda awkward and shy." She sighed, falling into the chair across from hers, "why can't the boys at our school be like that. I guess Won's friends are like that, but it's weird for me to even think of getting close to them like that since they're practically Jungwon's brothers."

Jiyeon gave her an amusing look, "how do you connect these two things?"

"Because some of us are lonely Jiyeon and don't have boyfriends like some people." Sihyun gave her a funny look. "But because I don't like the thought of getting with any of them, doesn't mean you can't?"

Jiyeon gave her a look of disgust, "seriously? If you thought of it as weird why wouldn't I also, and just like you literally said, I have a boyfriend which I am in a fine relationship with."

"I know I know, that's doesn't stop feelings from growing for other people just because you're in a relationship. Sometimes our relationships aren't the ones we see till the end." She shrugged. "I think it's good to get others opinions on how my relationship is going."
