"It feels like we haven't seen each other in ages? Have you been ignoring me?" Inhyuk tilted his head. "Didn't realize girlfriends do that."

Jiyeon scrunched her face in a confused look, "ignore you? Come on, you know I'd never ignore you. It's just been busy the last couple of days with school and Yejin."

"You act like Yejin is still a baby, shouldn't you give her space and freedom? You act like her mother too much," he wrapped his arms from behind, "she's taking the fun out of you."

Jiyeon furred her eyebrows, unlocking his arms from around her to look at him. "What? It doesn't matter if I treat her like a child— which she still is Inhyuk— she's my baby sister. I act like her mother because I'm the only one here to give her that motherly love, and you of all people should know that." Her expression was of disbelief, not able to believe what he was saying to her.

He rolled his back with a groan, "you know that's not what I meant. You always take my word in different ways then I do."

Jiyeon abruptly laughed out, her hands on her hips, "I don't want to talk to you right now. I'll text you later." She picked up her bag and walked away before he could get a word in. She might've overreacted and might've taken his words out of context, but he was one person who should understand her situation with Yejin. To even say something like that hurt her deeply, maybe more then it should've.

Jiyeon stepped into the washroom before going to her next class to snap her head back into place to get on with the rest of the lessons. Overthinking was one thing she'll never grow out of, no matter how much she talks herself into pushing the thoughts away. How could she when her whole life was one big mind racing track with nonstop turns.

"Let's go together, it's not too far from the school." One girl said, walking into the washroom with another.

"Okay, but Inhyuk asked me to bring somethings for the party, so let's leave early."

Jiyeon rushed into one of the stalls, quietly listening to the conversation the two unknown girls were having without her presences being seen.

Inhyuk having a party, without telling or informing her of it? It's not the first time he'd throw last minute parties, if anything he'd host last minute ones before he'd plan to host, but he'd always tell her so she could be there.

Sweet.and.Sour

Last class was currently in session. Jiyeon was quietly sitting at her desk like everyone else, reading the book they were assigned to read for their up-coming assessment on it. Although it was quiet, her head was loud with its own noise.

Her eyes shifted up to see the teacher indulged in her own work. Quietly tapping Sihyuns thigh to get her attention, "do you know of any parties happening tonight?" She whispered.

Sihyun scrunched her eyebrows, "parties? Uh, not that I know or hear of, why do you ask?" She whispered back.

"No reason, just curious." Sihyun gave her one last curious look before getting back to the book.

As the last bell rang, everyone got up and packed their belongings in before leaving the class. When Jiyeon finished up, she waited for Sihyun to meet her outside. "Any plans tonight?" Jiyeon asked once Sihyun got to her.
