He looks down at me the moment I notice him, smiling gently as he positions the umbrella a bit better. I'd thought he'd come back after realizing I left his apartment, which is understandable I guess. Feeling quite shy now, I look away.

"Mmm.. Don't be shy, (y/n)." He laughs softly. I clutch the box, still dry fortunately as I slowly ease myself.

"Yeah yeah." I mumble. I didn't want his presence to be here at this moment, but I guess I'm defeated by him holding an umbrella for me. But I appreciate another act of his kindness. I should be used to it by now, yet I'll always feel my heart warm whenever he does this.

"What is that in your hands?" He leaned forward to look at the box I had in my hands. Knowing he bought the cookbook from here, he'll probably wont mind the thing I bought. He chuckles and moves the umbrella over my shoulder, dangling his arm around my neck.

"It's just some pastries from this pastry shop you told me about." I hold the box out at him and smiled. He'll probably be happy to know I visited the place. But instead, he glances at the box with an unsure look and takes the flyer taped ontop of the box to inspect it.

"You got this from Nacha's?" He asks as he holds the flyer. I furrow my brows, wondering why he had the opposite reaction than what I anticipated.

"I.. Thought you'd be happy to know I went to the shop you told me about. Why so tense?" I ask him skeptically. He bought her cookbook, and suddenly he somewhat dislikes it?

"Oh no." He shakes his head before giving me a weird smile. "I am happy you went here, it's just Nacha. She's uh.. Well, whatever" He purses his lips and rolls his eyes, mocking Nacha. Oddly enough, he reminds me of Anastacha. I don't know why but, it might be because of his sudden attitude now.

"She's what?" I ask him again. He hums a bit in response, but doesn't really say anything else as he looks away. "I know you're both exes of each other, but like, you don't have to hate."

"Mmm.. You've really never been in a relationship before. You'll understand soon. Trust me, it's crap." He scoffs, shifting the umbrella again when the wind changed. Now he's making me nervous.

Some minutes has passed, and I'm still waiting for that someone to come. Along with Francis beside me, being a gentleman. They wrote out a time on when I'm supposed to be here, but they're the one who's late right now.

"Mmm.. Who're you waiting?" He asks, still observing the cars on the road.

  "Someone important. Nothing more."

"Nothing more? You're looking around being impatient." I stop turning my head and look up at him. He senses my gaze and turns to me with an amused smile. But he's right. I'm feeling quite worried for where they might be, and I feel like they're stuck somewhere hiding out from the rain.

"Alright, no time to act all like a cutie like that, I need cover." I said, tugging his sleeve.

"Mmm.. Really?" He looks at me with a spark in his eyes. I try to ignore it as I drag his wrist to walk across the street. He stumbles a bit before finally walking along beside me.

We searched around a few blocks, just trying to find anyone, anything that knows me other than the passing tenants. They know me, but I don't know them. And as long as I stay in view, they could probably spot me and approach me. But yet, it feels like we're just going in circles instead.
