Jimin's POV
"Thank you, everyone for being here tonight. It's been 3 years since the last time I opened a new art exhibit. I'm sorry for keeping you waiting."
I watched Y/N with proud eyes, standing on the center of the room, while I stood with the boys by my side.
"Hello to the new faces, thank you for coming and also to the old faces I see that have supported me ever since." A few group of people in their mid 20s cheered for her and she giggled.
"Being an artist is not really easy at all and at the same time it's also not hard as well. This might be tough especially, if you have a hard time dealing with your emotions, knowing, and validating them." She said as she clasped her hands together.
"Thinking about it, painting is actually a therapy. It makes you express or a way of distraction or just a relaxation. It can only be a hobby and it can also be a career, that only helps you to feed yourself." She nodded as she explained.
"Just like in music, if you are dealing something, it might be hard for you to sing or play an instrument at the moment. You might even lose your voice, not knowing how to sing like you used to. The passion, the fire in your heart slowly goes out, trying to ignite it back." She said as she pursed her lips, my heart moved to her every word since it's my first time to hear Y/N like this. She was always been tough and hard on me. I think she just pretends at some time. I smiled.
"So, I give the biggest thanks to the people who helped me ignite my fire back." She smiled as she tilted her head down.
"My friends, my family..." She said as she looked back up and then looked at me. I smiled and nodded, letting her know to continue her beautiful speech.
"Thank you." She said, smiling at me. "I also thank the people who helped managing and preparing this special event of mine. The staffs, my managers... Thank you all so much." She continued.
"And lastly, I thank myself for keeping it up. For not giving myself up." She nodded. "And this is your sign to not give yourself up as well." She added as she smiled sincerely.
"Thank you, everyone! Have a pleasant evening ahead. The event will extend till May 26, so if you know someone who has a free time, invite them here and I hope my art would make your hearts full like it did mine." She said with a sweet smile as she landed her hands on her chest. "Thank you again and see you!" She bowed and we all applaused as she left the center.

Y/N's POV
Someone tapped on my shoulder from my side, hearing a familiar voice.
"Y/N..." I turned around, I saw my brother and my parents.
"U-uh, hi." I greeted and waved at them then bowed slightly, surprised that father also came.
I saw my mother rubbing father's shoulder as she rested her head on his shoulder, smiling at me.
Father cleared his throat and brother moved behind them. Father took a few steps closer to me with mother and opened his mouth as I could feel myself starting to sweat.
"F-father." I stuttered and he suddenly asked me something I didn't expect to hear.
"How much is that painting, my daughter?" He asked as he pointed to a direction.
I turned around to the direction, surprised by his unexpected question.
I saw a painting with an old woman sitting on a rocking chair whom caressing a white kitten on her lap, sweetly smiling as a soft light was shining down on them from the window.
I looked back at him with a slightly confused face.
"You haven't been close to us that much, Y/N, since grandmother raised you and you had been her favorite." He chuckled. "Mother has always been an inspiration to all of us, a radiant woman that spreads her happiness to the people around her, especially her loved ones." He said and cleared his throat.
"Until she says her last goodbye. You have lost so much, Y/N, but still, you fight on your own, very much a like Grandma Baewong." He said as he looked down to his hands, clasping them together.
"She raised me on her own with nothing, no one to turn to." He looked back at me and my eyes started to get weak and hurt. "You remind me of my mother, Y/N. You are very strong." He carefully went near me and hugged me tight. I was surprised as I gulped and tears started to fall down. I looked at mother and Hoseok, watching us with happy faces as he held mother's shoulders on his side.
"Thank you father, you also make me strong." I said softly, trying not to crack my voice as I hugged him back.
Father hugged me tighter and caressed my back.

The painting had already a sticker on the bottom right corner with a caption of "SOLD". But it was only given to father for free as a gift, he will receive this after the 5-day event.
"Y/N!" Chaerin hugged me from behind and I turned around to face her.
"Chaerin! So, how is it?" I asked as we held each other's hands with excitement.
"SPECTACULAR BABE!" She replied and we squealed together. We stopped and looked around the place, realizing we were too much loud. We giggled quietly and hugged each other.
"I'm very proud of you, Y/N. Keep the fire burning!" She exclaimed in a low voice as she pulled away from the hug. "I hope you would also find someone you love and how your love burns for him." She cheekily grinned and playfully nudged me.
"Chaerin!" I reacted as I knew who she was referring about.
"Oh, Chaerin!" A familiar voice was heard from our side.
An annoying cat appeared the scene.
"Oh, the taxi guy! T-the club guy!" She exclaimed, pointing at him while she looked at me. I nodded and twitched my lip as Jimin laughed.
"Jimin." He said to confirm her guess, smiling.
"Yeah, right!" She replied as they bowed down to each other. "So, how are you guys been doing?" She smiled slyly at us, teasing us.
"She's totally a fan." He replied as he pointed at me as I swatted his hand away from me.
"In your dreams." I said as I rolled my eyes.
"You probably dream of me." He added as he looked down at me.
"Wow! Dream big, mister!" I laughed sarcastically. "And besides, we're good friends, right?" I asked Jimin as I raised a brow.
"What?" He asked back, pretending not hearing what I said as he grinned that made me feel annoyed.
I hit his arm and Chaerin laughed.
"Okay, I'll leave you two lovebirds alone. But be there at 6, okay?" She said and started to walk away.
"Huh? Where?" I asked as Jimin and we looked at each other, confused.
