For the past 10 years the Gallaghers have all been learning how to live without each other. Mickey and Ian offically combined their last name and they had a daughter, Mikaila Alexandra Gallavich, but she'll kill you if you call her anything but Kaia. Carl has been your typical South Side slutty cop with baby momma scares up and down the block but, he's running the Alibi better than anyone ever could, no offense Kev and V. Debs has adapted really well to living on her own, her and Sandy have figured out their differences and decided to just be friends but they're more so friends with benefits if you get what I mean. Liam loves living with us, he says it's the most peaceful thing he could've ever asked for. We got him back into a private school when we first moved back up to North Side and now he's going to University of Chicago studying political science; he wants to run for president one day. (GO LIAM!) Lip and I had a healthy seven pound baby boy, he's almost ten! We named him Gabriel of course. He is Lip's number one fan but a mommy's boy through and through. He's very smart but so isn't Freddie. Fred hates his mom's new husband, 'bitchie Richie' he calls him. He kind of hates Tami too but I tell him he has to deal but he has his room here and he's welcome anytime, he calls me mom too which I don't mind but Tami loses her shit every time. Kev, V, and the girls are loving Louisville but that never keeps them from coming to Gallagher Sunday.Lip promised Debbie before he sold the house that we'd have a big Sunday dinner with home cooked food just to make sure we all still seen each other and no matter what; and for the last 520 Sundays we've all came together at Lip and I's home. We even invite Tami, who still lives down the street at her dad's but it works because Fred can walk down anytime he wants and boy does he want to. This Sunday is officially 10 years, oh how time flies.

"Momma?" "Hmm." I hmm, turning to my son, Gabe as he is coming in from outside, "When's everyone coming?" "Five like every week I'd imagine. Why?" "Me and Kaia had a bet and I think I lost and don't have the bargain." He says and I roll my eyes. "How much?" "Twenty bucks." He squeaks out, "Gabriel, what did you bet with her?" "CCB." "Huh?" I ask, confused. "Classified Cousin Business." He smiles, nervously. "Then it's Classified Cousin Problems and not a mom issue." I say, flicking his forehead gently. "Told you she'd be pissed." Freddie comes inside and sits on the bar stools, "Mouth." I wave my finger in his face. "Tami lets me swear and so doesn't dad." Fred says, "I definitely said not in front of Sadie!" Lip calls from the garage. "See? Ask Uncle Carl, I used to yell at him too." I say, ruffling Fred's hair. "Is your mom coming today?" I ask him and he shrugs, "Hope not." "Be nice." "Mom, can you make sausage pasta tonight since it's my birthday?" Gabe begs, "Please!" Fred adds. "Yes but I want to make other stuff too. Kaia doesn't like pasta and Franny requested bread sticks." "The big fat ones?" Freddie asks, excitedly. "Yes, now go outside and play or you can clean your rooms." I smile sweetly at them, "Outside!" They scream together and run, pushing and shoving each other, "Be nice!" I yell.
"Tami coming?" Lip comes out of the garage and asks. I shrug, "Fred doesn't want her to." "Do you blame him?" He chuckles, washing his greasy black hands in the sink. "No but I think we should still be nice to her. She's Fred's mom and it's Gabe's birthday not just regular Sunday dinner. Your dad died ten years ago and Gabe was born ten years ago, it's important." "You're more his mom than she is, Sade." "Just shush. It's been ten years. I think everyone should be here." I say, "Even James?" He smirks. "Fuck off." "Mouth!" The boys mock me from outside, "They get it from their mommy." Lip teases. "I will not be inviting him anywhere after what happened when Gabe was born. N-O." I say, getting back to my cooking. My dad showed up to the hospital drunk off his ass and caused a scene. So bad a scene they called DCF on us when Gabe was only eight hours old. Mind you, I didn't invite him, he just found out somehow. Absolutely not. For all Gabe knows, Kevin is my dad and that's how it needs to stay. "That's so crazy how the twenty first landed on a Sunday." Lip chuckles, "And four days it's your birthday and next week we met twenty years ago." I say, taking breadsticks out of the oven. "032711."
