The young wizards reached their destination by morning. The Weasley family home was quite a strangely tall house, intricately designed, but it was a quaint, lovely home.

They moved quietly as they approached the house, trying not to wake anyone. As soon as Melinda stepped inside, a pleasant aroma wafted through her nose, bringing her a sense of comfort.

One of the twins shushed them as they crept through the doorway and into the kitchen. Melinda walked beside her brother, and they saw a pan that was being washed; with magic. There were other magical things throughout the home, like a clock that showed where all the Weasley children were at all times. There was also a pair of floating knitting sticks making what looked like a blanket.

Everything she had seen was divine, unreal.

"Magic is wonderful," Melinda said.

"It really is," Harry replied while smiling at her. "I'm happy you can experience it too."

"It's not much, but it's home," Ron said, biting into a piece of bread.

"I think it's brilliant," Harry said.

Suddenly, loud footsteps echoed down the stairs. A woman appeared at the bottom and began yelling.

"Where have you been?" Her voice was loud and harsh, and her face was red and angry.

Her tone quickly changed when she laid eyes on Harry and Melinda. "Harry! And Melinda I presume, how wonderful to see you two!" The two only nodded in response.

Her face softened as she looked at them, only to intensify again a few seconds later. Then, her voice switched back to continue disciplining her children. "Beds empty! No note! Car gone! You could have died! You could have been seen!" And then, to Melinda and Harry, "Of course I don't blame you, dears." Once again in a sweet tone. Her changes in tone toward her reminded her of Aunt Petunia.

She seems much nicer, though.

"They were starving him, Mum. There were bars on their window," Ron pleaded with his mother. The Potters' nodded their heads in agreement.

"Well, you best hope I don't put bars on your window, Ronald Weasley." Mrs. Weasley pointed her finger at him. "Come on you two, time for a spot of breakfast. You're both safe and sound now."

Melinda and Harry followed her into the kitchen, they were both starving. They sat at the table and began filling their bellies happily when a young girl entered the kitchen.

"Mummy, have you seen my jumper?" She asked.

"Yes, dear, it was on the cat." Her mother answered.

The girl looked in the Potters' direction, well, she looked in Harry's direction, and her eyes bulged in surprise.
