Knightingale [THE FIRST DRAFT.]

Note From the Author.

For my final semester project at university, we were tasked to create a product (comic, game, book etc,) that we would then go on to show at our degree show at the end of the year.

I chose to write a book.

"Knightingale" is an illustrated fantasy novel for young readers following Adric, a young boy who sets out on a quest to find the elusive, missing Queen Seraphina. 

My original plan was to write the base story (around 13 chapters,) and then upload this first draft, onto Ko-fi as a digital download and upload for FREE on Wattpad (minus the illustrations.)

This is a condensed version of the story I want to tell in the future, whilst still being a full, complete story in its own right. 

I would have (almost) finished my course by the time this is fully published, after which I intend to rewrite this story, making it the start of a trilogy. This will include extending the story beyond that of the ending of this first draft, whilst also adding chapters and upping the marketing that I do on social media.

"Knightingale" is a labour of love, my swan song, if you will. So, for now, I hope you enjoy reading my story, in it barest form.
