Golden Hearts (Hunter x Reader)

Chapter IV

As the day carries on Eda had come back with more things and she said she had sold some things.King had finally woken up we were all reading throw books trying to make new potions.after a while the we could hear hooty talking outside as the door opened to reveal luz and three other people all in there uniforms.two girls and a boy.before I could ever process what the looked like and stuff luz ran up to me and dragged me over.

"Y/N these are my friends" she said pointing towards them all. "Hi y/n it's nice to meet u" said a girl smiling.She had short neat wavy blue hair and round glasses.She was really pretty.i smiled back at her "u too" I said in a happy tone."y/n that's willow" luz said looking at the girl I had just talked to.Luz then pulled the boy forward."This is gus" Luz said."Hi gus" I said."Heyyy y/n" he said making me smile.He was shorter than me and he seemed nice.Luz then continued "and y/n this is Amity my girlfriend" Luz smiled holding onto amity's hand."Hi amity I said while examining her she had purple hair and was around the same height as Luz."so do u wanna come hang out with us" she asked."sure"said following them.We all went up to Luz's room and I got to know everyone they seemed like they are going to be really good friends hopefully.After a while we ate and talked more about random things.

-Time skip-

Everyone had somehow fell asleep I mean I didn't know they were saying but it is late and I wouldn't want anything to happen to them if they went home now by themselves.Its a bit lonely now though having no one to talk to I didn't want to disturb them so I got up slowly from where i was sitting in the room somehow not waking anyone up I hope and i went to my room.i flopped down onto my bed I felt a little bit tired but I wasn't really.After a while of laying there I heard a knock but I just ignored it cause I didn't think much of it but then I heard a few more knocks but it sounds like a window knocking?

I got up to find a shadow like figure at the window on a staff as soon as I open the window it becomes clear who it was Hunter!?"Hunter what are u doing here" I said confused on why he is here in the middle of the night like yes he's my friend supposedly as long as he's not lying."sorry I know it's middle of the night but I didn't have anything else to do since I just got off duty and I don't really sleep so I came here is that ok?" He said."umm yeah it's fine come in I said moving out of the way sitting back on my bed."so um how was ur day?"he asked definitely not knowing what to say or do."ok i guess?" I said."Question do u trust me" he asked."um idk maybe?why?" I said."why don't u trust me? He said sounding generally confused."maybe cause ur the emperors right hand and part of the coven that want me and Eda" I said."oh yea well how can I prove that I'm not like on a mission or something to do to mess with u and Eda". "I don't know".we just sat there for a minute.i do want to friends with him he seems interesting.after a while we started talking about random things and stuff what go on in our lives."hey um why are u still wearing ur uniform and mask don't u think it's a bit hot? I said."I'd rather wear the mask then have anyone look at my face" he said ."why not?"."u can show me I'm not gonna judge or anything I promise"."u know what fine" he said giving in.he slowly started to take his mask off revealing his face.oh my titan I thought he would be  like an old man but he wasn't he looked my age.He had ash blonde hair,big magenta eyes and a scar down near his cheek.he was actually kinda cute WAIT WHAT AM I THINKING... I thought to my self making me zone out as I dealed with a bunch of stuff in my head."um y/n?" Hunter asked worried he continued as I noticed he was talking to me"I know u we're probably expecting something else and definitely not wanting a friend with a hideous face like mine he said looking down sadly."hunter there is nothing wrong with how u look I'm just glad ur not like some old man and ur not anything u said actually ur kinda cute"- I immediately realised what I had just said "um sorry if that made uncomfortable and I guess I was thinking about what I'm saying"I said embarrassed my face turning red.I could see he was turning a pinkish colour.i wasn't wrong tho he is cute."it's um it's fine thank I guess anyway" he said laughing slightly.After a little while of more talking and the sun was coming up by now."I should go now before someone finds I'm missing"hunter said in a sad tone."it's fine I understand it was nice to get to know u more" I replied smiling as he walked towards the window and turned back to me as I was behind him before he said anything I just pulled him into a hug making him fall a bit lower to my height  he hugged me back not knowing what else to do."see ya around goldie."I said as he left basically speechless.I turn around and walk to the bed to notice there was still something laying there.his mask.how did he forget that doesn't he like really need that I thought.hope he has more anyway I need to hide this before eda or someone finds it.

Sorry this was a bit delayed but whatever I've been on call with my best friend in-between finishing up this chapter as I did basically write it up in my notes at the weekend so I just finished it and edited parts hope people enjoy! Word count:1203
