The 'Cabinets' were an archive of information on everything and anything that could be a possible threat to Earth, so there were no lights apart from the small green LEDs from the fire exit sign. Each cabinet stack had a small light you had to turn on if you did want to read the information as you weren't allowed to take the files out of the room. The folders even had scanners on them to set off an alarm if an entire case file happened to go astray. If there was one place you'd want to find accurate information on two Norse gods, it'd be here.

James had access to the room for when he had to file reports on everyone he processed through from interrogation, or even when he personally interrogated, and whilst all the administration got boring as hell, it was moments like these where he was grateful for his granted access.

"Thor Odinson. Odinson, aisle O..." He walked down the central aisle until the letter 'O' came into view from one of the marked banners on the side of a large cabinet. Beneath the banner was a piece of paper with a layout of the cabinets. Drawer 'OD' was the second highest from the first stack, most likely from the rarity of last names beginning with O.

James sighed and grabbed the ladder from the other end of the aisle. "The things I do for gods and they don't even bother to do anything for me," he muttered as he climbed it. He reached the second cabinet which was labelled 'OD'. He opened it and flicked through the files. It wasn't long before he saw one marked 'T. ODINSON'.

"Bingo."

He opened the file and noted the significant amount of information stored there. Thor was ranked quite high in the list of 'potential dangers' due to him being a literal god, but he swore to protect Earth and his allegiance was to the Avengers, or what was left of them, so his stamp was a nice shade of blue instead of red.

The Sokovia Accords had driven a very large wedge into the group, from what he'd heard. They had a wild civil war or something; the heroes who sided with Captain America became war criminals and were locked up. That was until Captain America broke them out.

The infinitesimal amount of information he knew was shameful for a S.H.I.E.L.D worker, though he had a feeling as to why he was always the last one to hear or why he only heard from other people.

James had never met any of the other Avengers before, but was close to becoming one. Fury had asked him to join after the devastation caused in New York all those years ago, but he declined for a plethora of excuses and only one valid reason— he wasn't stable enough for it. Besides, the Avengers had a new rep now — destructive and ruinous. Forgive him for wanting to abandon that aesthetic.

He looked through Thor's file and noted him being the son of the All-Father of the nine realms. He'd heard stories about the great Odin who watched over the realms and kept peace and order, but didn't know those myths were factual.

Yet again, an example of his limited knowledge... or an excuse for his incompetence.

His eyes skimmed across the page until they came across the section with all of Thor's known affiliations that could potentially be dangerous. The first name was typed in big red letters — Loki Laufeyson/dottir: sibling.

There was a picture of Loki and she looked a fair share similar to the person James bumped into, if not more masculine in the picture. In brackets next to her name read 'AISLE 'O' — L. ODINSON'. He looked back into the filing cabinet and there was another folder titled 'L. ODINSON'.

He tilted his head and put Thor's folder back, picking up Loki's.

Loki's file was thick. Significantly thicker than Thor's, which could only mean one thing. "Someone's in trouble..." he sang to himself as he opened the folder. On the first page was a picture of Loki in a glass cage, hair slicked back with sunken eyes sagging by purple bags. She looked sick, both mentally and physically.
