Ch.4

Everyone was in the car asleep except Titus and I. I slowly realize that no one is on the highway, usually there is stand-still traffic. I start to drive a bit faster then I see a few cars tail lights. I slow down and notice that it wasn't a few cars, it was miles of traffic. I get out the truck and as everyone did. In the distance I see blue lights flashing. While the sun beating down on my face, I notice a stunning,young blonde girl in a Toyota Corolla alone with tears streaming down her face. Then I hear a scream. A swarm of scared people run towards us. The girl is unaware of the terrified crowd. Then I hear a scream inside my truck. I quickly open the door and Nick's classmate is now chomping down on Fredrick neck I quickly react and grab nick out of the car and Titus also follows. I grab my pocket knife and lodge it through nicks classmate. Nick screams," ZACK". I comfort nick and I get jumped on by an infected. Its infected teeth are just inches away from neck. I hear a loud burst and then brain matter of the infected is all over me and the infected woman has fallen. I wipe the brain matter off of my face and see the young girl that was crying standing with a 22 pistol in her hands with smoke coming out of the barrel.  She sternly says to me," The name is Harper."
