While Izuku and Katsuki were having their heart-to-heart conversation, Eijiro was on his way back up to the rooftop. Eijiro was carrying a box full of drinks with him. He muttered, "I wonder if I shouldn't have taken every individual drink from the fridge. This is the first time when it was just the three of us hanging out."

As soon as Eijiro made it to the first step, he slightly opened the door and heard the fireworks go off. He saw his friends kissing each other as he opened up the door more. He quickly closed the door before they could notice. "No way. Did I just see what I think I just saw?" Eijiro was starstruck. He wanted to know for sure. He sets the box down so that he could catch them in the act again.

He waited a minute, then checked again that they kissed again. It's confirmed, he saw that his two friends were kissing. "What is he thinking?" He's talking to himself, whispering, "Didn't I warn him about the dangers of falling in love with a human?? Why doesn't he listen?"

Eijiro puffs out a sigh, "That's it. I need to break it up." He was determined to put an end to this, turning the doorknob, he waited for the right moment. He didn't want to enter when they were in the middle of their kissing session.

"I don't know how or what I'm supposed to be feeling about... all of this. I think I'm still unsure, but I want to continue what our relationship could be so that I can make a decision. Are you okay with that?" Izuku asked of Katsuki. That made Eijiro stop as he wanted to listen to what his friend had to say.

He tightens his grip on the doorknob. "I swear to Poseidon if he breaks his heart..." he muttered.

Then he heard Katsuki say, "Of course. I'll wait however long you like and whatever you make your mind up to, I will accept it. Take all the time you need."

Eijiro didn't move an inch. He's taking in on Katsuki's response. He expected him to get angry and lash out at Izuku and he was ready to defend Izuku if it means they both get kicked out of the condo.

In the end, he closed the door quietly. "He didn't shun him away and Izuku didn't say 'I love you' to him. Is he trying to figure out his feelings once and for all?" He thought about what they said about their relationship together. "There's no way Izuku's going to tell me about this," he sighs, "That's okay. I'll wait until he's ready." Eijiro picks the box back up and tries to open it up again with one of his hands having to let go of the box.

When he was struggling, he kicked the door open. He pretended like nothing happened and acted completely natural. Sooner or later, one of them is going to come for advice about all of this. And this puts him in the middle of the one thing he dreads about side characters in his stories, being a third wheel between his friends that obviously like each other. Making him question if he's in a romance novel where he doesn't get a partner in the end.
