"Found anything yet?" Lyney asked as he regrouped with his two other siblings; both of whom shook their heads. They'd been trying to track down the Doctor's headquarters all day but had yet to stumble on so much as a trace. Knowing where he performed the experiments would make it possible for them to put an end to them, but until then, there would be nothing they could do; even if you were distracting him so well.

"It's somewhere between Fontaine and Sumeru but that's about it." Freminet sighed as he took a seat on a nearby rock; not wanting to come back to you empty handed but having no idea what else to do either.

There was a brief pause as none of the siblings knew what to say but then Lyney finally sighed, turning to them. "I think we should split up and search along the border again, "I know it's getting late but Father needs us to figure out where Lord Dottore's experiments are taking place." Lynette and Freminet nodded, though neither one of them seemed particularly enthusiastic about the order.

Regardless, they didn't fight it either; nodding as they went their separate ways in their already-assigned directions along the border. Lyney sighed once the two of them had gone; hoping they'd be able to do something to help you end this whole mission sooner.

Their connections had reported that Dottore was in Sumeru today, though they hadn't been sure on the reason why. He was tempted to go after him to find out but he knew better than to risk it. If the Doctor was away, now was the best time to locate his base of operations.

With a sigh, the magician turned away from the nation of Wisdom and headed for his sector of the Sumeru-Fontaine border. With a generous amount of luck, they might be able to late the place today and have it infiltrated by tomorrow.

Though, maybe that was just wishful thinking.

Wanderer sat at the dining table; leaning his elbows against the dark wood of the furniture in silence. You were making tea for the both of you in the kitchen, having claimed it would settle whatever nerves you might be feeling after the previous day's events, and he was trying not to look your way for any longer than a second at a time.

As much as the navy haired man denied it, he knew deep down how he felt about you. His feelings only seemed to grow with every interaction too and he worried if they progressed he might end up doing something he'd regret; something stupid. He never thought he'd find himself agreeing with any of Dottore's usually peculiar tastes, but when it came to you...

"Sugar?" You asked as you loaded the two teacups onto a small plate now. He was momentarily stunned as he snapped out of his trance, clearing his throat.

"No thanks." You nodded but loaded a spoonful into your own cup before coming over to the table. You set the plate down in the middle; between his place and yours, and then took a seat across from him and grabbed your cup of tea.

He took his own carefully, staring down at the warm liquid before taking a sip awkwardly. Since when had being around you become so difficult?

You sighed, clearly bored from having to wait around in the House of the Hearth all day like this. Since her children were currently out locating Dottore's base of operations, you two had been left to your own devices as you waited in her home. You'd been attempting to kill time all day but the hours had been moving at a painfully slow pace.

"So," you finally spoke in an attempt to alleviate your own boredom, "Tell me more about how you know Dottore." You didn't say it in any kind of accusing tone, yet the navy haired man still somehow felt as if he were being interrogated.

"What do you mean?" He asked, knowing full-well what you meant. You shrugged.

"Lesser Lord Kusanali told us you hate him too," you explained, "It's part of why Arlecchino decided to bring you in to help us, but I don't remember ever having met you before. I was just wondering how you met him."
