"Shit, shit, shit! Don't look back!" Victoria screamed, as Kid carried them both far away from the Count's fort, and they raced down the winding hill, passing through a large gatehouse with two towers standing on either side. A heavy metal portcullis slammed down threatening to stop them from getting any further. However, before the Magnet Fruit user could use his abilities Killer leapt forward, slicing the barrier into tiny little pieces with his temporary replacement blades. They felt awkward and unbalanced in his hands but they served their purpose...
"GET BACK HERE YOU INSUFFERABLE INSECTS!" The Slug Count's roar rumbled the very ground below them, and from out the castle atop the hill an enormous thriving mass of flesh and meat pulled itself free from the stone-brick. He had revealed his true form to the outside world, and there was now little that would stop his rampage now that he was fully unleashed.

"M-My..." A few knights on guard were dotted around the area, however, upon catching a single glimpse at the lumbering nightmare it was hard for them to stand around for much longer. "M-MONSTER FROM THE CASTLE! F-FLEE!" They cried, following after the three escapees, but not all of them were so lucky, as tens of spindly tendrils shot out from the Count, snatching ahold of their arms and legs. It didn't matter how much they cried and pleaded for mercy, they were eaten all the same, their flesh and bones crushed into a bloody pulp within the Apostle's gullet.
However, his focus remained first most on that petulant teen, the girl who had insulted him. He couldn't simply allow her to get away with what she had done, it was an unforgivable sin. For a mere human to believe themselves worthy to talk in such a manner to an Apostle, a being who was far beyond man, it was maddening...
Village folk awoke from their beds, tired and weary eyed, but anxious to check what was going on, earthquakes weren't exactly a common occurrence in the Sorbet Kingdom. Men, women and children screamed in terror as they watched the rampaging monster tear through the city, crushing and destroying everything that found itself in his path. Wriggling tendrils would swipe out peasants, and they joined the other mangled corpses in his stomach. People couldn't even collect their belongings, forced to hide in small crooks and alleyways, or flee from the city, hoping that they were fast enough to outpace whatever it was assaulting their home.
Not even the frequent executions and the Count's tyrannical abuses could match up to the sheer amount of terror that they all collectively felt...
"How are we supposed to outrun that bastard!" Victoria shouted, as she faced the monster that chased them down. A few tendrils hunted them down but Killer batted them away, sustaining some injuries of his own. The Count was too strong for him to even parry the blows, never mind throwing his own back in return. Kid shook his head. "He's a Devil Fruit user, right?!" He cast his eyes over towards the harbour, where tens of masts and sails poked up above the buildings.
