Okay, I know that this little "episode" will not be fun. Some may enjoy it, some may not. But you have to read on--your life may depend on it.
I would REALLY like some comments on how I'm doing! Seriously, they all give me an idea to what I'm doing right and/or wrong. So...COMMENT. Honestly, it doesn't bite ;)
Thanks for reading! Enjoy!
<><><><><><>"Hold it."
Haruhi's anger subsided into fear at the familiar sound of a gun. She'd only heard it on TV, but it sounded just as realistic.
"If you know what's good for you, Haruhi, you'll get in the car. Or your sweet little Tamaki gets a bullet to the head."
Haruhi gulped silently and carefully turned around, staring at the gun in his right hand. It hung by his side, but any second, he could pick it up and shoot them.
"Good. Now get in the car."
Haruhi came closer to Tamaki's side, gripping his hand tightly. "Not without him."
The guy shrugged. "Fine by me. Give me your cell phones," he ordered, "and he can come. Or he dies on the spot."
"Okay," Haruhi whispered. She reached in her handbag and pulled her cell, handing it over reluctantly along with Tamaki.
The guy smirked. "Good. Get in."

Haruhi wanted to kick herself for not leaving a note at the hotel. Now they were in a car with a psycho who wanted to kill them. And she didn't even know why! Rei was going to freak when she woke up.
Haruhi almost groaned. Not only that, by Rei freaking out and obviously going to look for them when she realized they weren't at the hotel, it was jeopardizing her photography job. Great.
Whoever this guy was, he was extremely scary. Haruhi was too afraid to even swallow without his say-so. He had a freaking gun! What the hell was she supposed to do?
Mom, I miss you.
Suddenly, Tamaki leaned in, putting his mouth by her ear. "Haruhi, I think I know this guy," he whispered. She could hardly understand his words, they were so soft.
"What do you mean?" she whispered back. She kept her eyes trained ahead, in the view of the rear view mirror. That way she would know if he was checking on them.
"When Kayli's parents were killed, she was revengeful. Remember when she told you they were murdered?"
"By a commoner like me," she answered, giving a small, curt nod. That memory haunted her. When she had heard how her parents died, it had sounded eerily familiar to what had happened to her mom. But then she'd gotten distracted by Kayli's rude ass.
"Well, she told me she knew a guy, a hit man. She said she was going to hire him."
"And this is the guy?"
Tamaki pressed his lips together. "I think so. He looks older, but the same. I've only seen him in photographs. Kayli told me he was like an obedient uncle." He made a soft sound, like a snort.
Haruhi's heart dropped. The "hit man" cocked his gun and pointed it in the backseat, right at Tamaki's head. "Shut up or die," he threatened. When they fell silent, he retracted the gun and Haruhi released a quiet, relieved sigh.
Haruhi glanced at Tamaki. His jaw was clenched, his lips set in a slight snarl, and his hands were fisted on his knees. Haruhi gulped and took the risk of placing her hand on his, as a comforting gesture. Tamaki gave her a grateful, loving, fearful look.
