Why..?

Dawn of Day

A bright morning shines upon the vast land of Adventure Bay, the homeland to the one and only Paw Patrol, a group of pups along with their leader, 13 year old Ryder Anderson, awakening the police dog of the team, Chase, from his slumber. Risen up from his good night sleep, he walks out of his pup house to wake the others up.

"Ruff! Megaphone!" the German Shepherd exclaims, as his pup pack transforms into a megaphone, "Rise and shine pups! Remember what Ryder said yesterday, today's an important day!" he speaks whilst the megaphone amplifies his words. Groans can be heard from his spot, knowing he had probably woken them up from an amazing dream.

One by one, the rest of the Paw Patrol exited their pip house and entered the power, besides one, confusing the German Shepherd, he walks towards his pup house, and to no surprise, "Rubble, wake up. Ryder needs us for an announcement." Chase says to the still half asleep bulldog, Rubble.

"Five more minutes please." Rubble groans. Sighing, he decides to bait him out with his favorite thing of the day, "Guess you won't be eating breakfast, I assume" he says in a stern voice. As if out of nowhere, the bulldog jolts his eye lids open then rushes into the tower, startling the German Shepherd as he didn't know he could run so fast.

Chuckling at the sight he just witnessed, he then enters the building himself, greeted by everyone, besides one, a particular Dalmation, Marshall, who'd just ignore his existence, Chase frowns as he notices this, he had known Marshall since he was young, before even being acquainted as the Second-in-Command of the Paw Patrol, they got WAY back. He tried his best to keep his optimism and try to chat with the Dalmation.

He walks up to the Dalmation, "Hey, Marshall, how's your da-" "Awful, and no I don't want to talk about it, scram" he said unamused, cutting off Chase's sentence, the Dalmation didn't even take a glance on him, "Oh. Okay then.." Chase said pessimistically, he knew that if he wanted him to talk, it had to be the right time to do so, otherwise the grumpy Dalmation would just straight up ignore him.

Skye's POV:
After finishing breakfast, I witnessed at the corner of my eye Marshall telling Chase to go away, I was saddened at this scene, as I know they were both once friends, but now they're both detached from each other's life. Then, Ryder had called us up to the Observatory for the announcement, we rushed to the elevator to bring us to the Observatory.

We arrived at the Observatory, Ryder then gave us a brief on what is happening. "Alright pups! Today we have a special one, we have been invited to the grand re-opening of Adventure City!" We all howled in joy, besides one, at the corner of my eye, I saw Chase, standing there with a worried expression, as if he was... scared? This is the first time I've ever seen him scared at like, not a "worried" level, but like a "distressed" level.

Ryder then told us that we will be staying there for a few weeks to make sure everything is in order, then we will return back to Adventure Bay, he told us to pack our stuff and we will be heading for Adventure City in a few hours, so we better hurry.

"Hey guys! How's it going?" I snapped backwards, "Everest!" I exclaimed as I tackled into her, it's been a month and a half since we've seen her after that avalanche incident not too long ago, she was there to help clear the snow and rescue people who were trapped. "Great to see you here Everest! Say, how about you join us to the reopening of Adventure City?" Ryder greeted, then asked her, she agreed instantly, classic Everest.

Rocky's POV:
We were down back in our pup houses to pack our stuff, fairly easy for me as I'm very organized, and I'm not exaggerating, Skye and Everest were having their usual girls talk about stuff that happened in the past month.
