Marias POV

I woke up on some weird bed, it felt like a dog bed but it was bigger than a big dog bed, a kind of wolf bed. Then, Aquamarine entered the starlit room, carrying a tray filled with juice, pancakes and a nice little vase with a purple flower. "Good morning sleeping beauty, you didn't come down to breakfast so I brought it up to you," Aquamarine said, trying to keep the tray balanced on her head. I took the tray from Aquamarine's head, thanking her and then sitting back down to eat. And I made sure to give her a little pat before she left. The pancakes were delicious, with a single strawberry and whipped cream as toppings. I saw the moon in front of the sun, a lunar eclipse. Moonstone and Sunstone outdid themselves with the spectacular event, I then headed down the ornate stairs, and Amethyst and Peridot were passionately arguing about the tactic they would use to defeat Obsidian the next time she caused trouble. I then saw Aquamarine and she flashed a smile at me, she was glad I woke up and got to see the eclipse. "They outdid themselves huh?" she asked me, "Yeah, it is beautiful!" I reply. Ruby was using her flames to perfect a delectable-looking souffle, "Looking awesome Ruby!" I say "Why thank you, I just learnt how to control the temperature of my flames to get the best result!" She says, a smile forming on the red wolf's face, she cooks for the whole team, she says it's her favourite contribution to the team, and without a doubt, I believe her. Emerald was painting the eclipse. she always paints things she finds beautiful, as she loves remembering stuff through a masterpiece. It was an extremely detailed artwork. It belongs in a museum or art gallery. It's so nice that they keep their talents and skills amongst all the chaos. I probably couldn't do that.

It was lunchtime and Ruby whipped up an amazing casserole. She had been practising fancy dishes for a while now and it was amazing to see what she had learnt. It was amazing she really must've paid attention to that Online gourmet cooking course. The teacher was a bit shocked to have her, but Ruby was top of the whole class. We all played a board game after lunch, but Sapphire and her competitive spirit threatened to ruin the game, as she is prideful when she wins. Peridot skipped out on the board game to continue practising mastering her element, Then, the alarm sounded, Obsidian must be causing more trouble.

We all went to the scene, Obsidian and her minions were causing chaos, we all fought her knights, and they were finished, but we still had to deal with their master, Obsidian, but a light blue blur kept us at bay, Aquamarine clawed at the blur and the blow landed, the blur revealed to be a light blue wolf, she laid on the floor, clearly wounded, she tried to get up but was unable to, Aquamarine approached the wolf, towering over her and she said, "Do you yield?" The wolf didn't want to admit defeat, but she had no choice, "I yield." the wolves then took her prisoner, after Obsidian was defeated, we interrogated her.

"Okay, why are you working for Obsidian?! answer or I will claw you!" Ruby said hoping to get an answer. "Ruby, enough, we aren't here to torture her, we are here to interrogate her." Aquamarine sternly said as she shot a dirty look at her comrade. if looks could kill, Ruby would have been obliterated. They had taken her gem so she couldn't use most of her powers, but she still could be fast, but not blur fast, she tried clawing her ropes but was caught, Ruby put a claw to her neck, "I will dig this into the skin and drag it along, I am imagining a cut here line!" she said, dragging her claw across the enemy's neck, but she didn't touch any vitals. Aquamarine gave another look to Ruby. but the death threats made the wolf confess. "OK ok, I'll answer your questions, My name is Opal, I'm Obsidian's general and I'm a broken gem, my abilities are speed and invisibility. I will not reveal Obsidian's plans," she said. "So your name is Opal, your Obsidians general, you are a broken gem whose powers are speed and invisibility? Not enough." Aquamarine said. "Now do we torture her?" Ruby whined. "No." Aquamarine sternly said. "Ugh, when will we act, not talk!?" Ruby replied. "get some patience." Aquamarine states. they then left the chamber, satisfied with the information they sucked out of her. They then told the rest of the gems about the news, they voted and agreed that Opal was too dangerous to release so that she would stay captive, but judging from Sapphire's face, something was wrong.
