STRAWBERRIES AND CIGARETTES || PARK JIHOON

Jihoon was currently at the University's rooftop. He exhaled the smoke in the air and gazed around. It had been two days since he and Junkyu joined the university and Yn and Seungmin did a great job ignoring them.

Though Suji would talk to them, the duo wouldn't. He tried to gain her attention in many ways but he always failed. Two days and he along with Junkyu already got the name 'The bad boys'.

You can ask why, Jihoon fought with a boy just because he spilled coffee on his shoes and he along with Junkyu beat the boy and got warning from the faculty. The next day he punched a boy who was staring at Yn.

Many girls would fangirl him over his cool looks. Junkyu also became popular like him. They both used to come in their bikes to the university.

Jihoon's gaze shifted to a particular brunette who was sitting under one of the bench near the University garden and his gaze softened. He threw the cigarette and crushed it under his shoes.

He started walking down the stairs and while walking he took out a small pocket perfume and sprayed it near his shirt collar. He dashed towards the place where Yn was sitting while reading a book quietly.

Yn felt someone sitting next to her and she shifted her attention towards the person. His cologne hit her nostrils and she furrowed her brows. She decided to ignore him and shifted her attention back to her book.

"Ahh, I'm jealous of the book" Jihoon said but still didn't receive any reply "I also need attention" he whined and she coldly gazed at him "Leave me alone Park Jihoon" she said and started reading her book while he gazed at her.

Seungmin was searching for his friend and stopped at a distance and watched Jihoon sitting beside her. He sighed and he was about to approach her but he felt someone held his shoulder from behind.

He turned back and saw Junkyu with a playful smile and he rolled his eyes. Junkyu had been a pain in ass for him since day one. Whenever Jihoon would be near Yn, Junkyu used to drag Seungmin forcefully just to make the two spend time.

Yesterday he lifted Seungmin on his shoulders just because he refused to leave Yn's side and the whole campus was shook at the action. So Seungmin hated Junkyu's presence as the boy loved to tease him.

"Come lets grab coffee" Junkyu said making him scoff "What am I, your girlfriend?" He asked and was about to walk but he was again stopped by Junkyu. This time he saw Junkyu's playfulness vanish and he was seriously looking at him.

"You should give them time bro, he's trying so hard to talk to her" he said and Seungmin paused for a second. After a minute he sighed and nodded his head. He gave a last glance towards his best friend and walked away with Junkyu.

Yn quietly read her book while Jihoon was admiring the girl. She was aware of his eyes staring at her but she decided to ignore it and continue her work.

After twenty minutes she stood up and decided to search for Seungmin as Suji had taken a leave that day.
Jihoon also stood up and walked next to her. He didn't try to speak to her as he knew she would never talk, so he walked quietly next to her.

While walking people around them were staring at them. Some mean girls who just passed by started gossiping about the girl
'She's still the same cold bitch'
'How can Jihoon tag along with her. He will surely become like Seungminnie'
'She's heartless'

Jihoon had enough and he held Yn's hand making her halt. Yn definitely heard those comments but she didn't react like every time. Jihoon turned towards the girls and glared at them making them shudder

"Once again if I hear a word about her, I'll bury you guys underground" he said making them flinch and nod their head. He turned towards Yn who took her hand from his grip. "Why do you care" she asked and raised her brow

"Tell me why shouldn't i?" He questioned her back and smirked after seeing her quite. She just ignored him and started walking ahead and he followed her while having a victory smile.

She reached the cafeteria and watched Junkyu giggling like a girl while Seungmin had a pissed off face. She started making her way towards them while Jihoon followed behind her.

She sat next to Seungmin and Junkyu smiled at her "Hello Ynie. Here I got strawberry milk for you" he said and slid the milk carton towards her "I don't like strawberry" she said and stared at him while he smiled back "Next time I'll bring it of your choice. Now just drink it quick" he said and she rolled her eyes and took the carton

Jihoon chuckled at her reaction and Junkyu smiled in victory. They started having their lunch, mainly Junkyu speaking or arguing with Seungmin while Yn and Jihoon would just watch them.

Yn and Seungmin had decided to study for an hour in the library and the two boys had no interest in stepping there, so they decided to wait for them near the parking lot.

Jihoon and Junkyu were talking to each other and suddenly they saw a group of boys laughing while talking about something. Jihoon showed his palm making Junkyu stop and they started to pay attention to their conversation.

'Gosh, that Yn- she's so hot you know. Even though she's a cold bitch I can make her scream my name' a boy commented and his friends started laughing. Jihoon fisted his palm and clenched his jaw.

Without wasting a second he marched towards them and threw a harsh punch on him, knocking him off. His friend's eyes widened in fear and turned towards Jihoon who was burning in anger.

"I'll rip your tongue out if you ever talk about her" he said in a threatening voice and his friends ran away from there leaving the unconscious boy there whose nose had started bleeding. The dean witnessed the scene and shouted "You two principal's office now"

Jihoon was having a bored expression on his face and Junkyu was trying to control his laughter while the principal was lecturing them. The principal had enough and he decided to call Jihoon's parents.

"Your mom is on the way. I'll tell her about your doings" he said while Jihoon just nodded his head. After a few minutes they heard a knock and a lady entered who had worn a rich black expensive skirt which reached below her knees with a black shades adorning her face.

She removed her shades and the principal stood up in horror "Madam, how come are you here" he asked as the lady smiled. "I came here for my son" she said and patted Jihoon's head and smiled at Junkyu who returned the smile.

"He- he is your son?" The principal asked and she nodded her head "What did my son do?" She said in an authorative tone voice making the principal shudder. Jihoon glared at him "Nothing mam. Sorry i misunderstood the situation" he said and the lady smiled.

Junkyu smirked and they all exited the principal's cabin. His mother lightly smacked his head "Ahh, why mom?" He asked "What did you do?" She asked while folding her arms and he sighed "They talked ill about my girl. So i punched him" he said and the lady's eye softened

"Okay but don't cause trouble for other reasons. I own this college that doesn't mean you can be brat" she said and he nodded his head making her smile

They were just passing the library when Yn and Seungmin came out at the same time. The lady smiled at the girl while Yn stood there frozen without any expression.
The same lady whom she encountered in the convenience store when she was with her sister

Yn bowed to her and the lady patted her head. She gazed at Jihoon who was smiling at her then to his mother "Hello"
