Everyone in the hotel was minding their own business doing what they usually do, Angel and Cherri at the bar, Niffty was hunting bugs and Charlie Vaggie and Alastor were talking about the hotel. There was only one thing out of the ordinary, Lucifer was no where to be seen.
Charlie and Alastor soon took a notice to the fact he wasn't anywhere in the lobby and got a bit worried
C: Uh guys have either of you seen my dad?
V: No, have you seen him at all recently though? Maybe he's just in his room, he tends to be making ducks or doing things as king right?
A: I have not seen him and it is quite odd for him to not be here for so long... he usually just comes down to get away from paperwork from time to time and he never takes this long when he decides to make ducks
Charlie and Vaggie both give Alastor confused looks
C: How the hell do you know that much about my dad!?
V: Agreed, I swear if you did anything I will stab you a thousand times with an angelic spear asshole!
Alastor had no way out of the situation he had just gotten himself into. He hadn't done anything to harm the king the truth was the exact opposite of that! A few weeks ago Alastor had started dating Lucifer but they had decided not to really tell anyone yet... not even Charlie knew yet. He was about to respond but then noticed Charlie and Vaggie looking behind him with even more confused looks then before
A: What are you guys staring at?
As he turned around he saw Lucifer running at him at full speed before hurling himself in the air jumping on him making them both fall to the floor
A: WHAT THE HELL WAS THAT FOR ASSHOLE!
L: Haha! I felt like it!
Now everyone in the lobby was staring at the two all sharing the same confused looks. The whole ordeal was enough to even make Nifty stop chasing cockroaches around the lobby. Angel leaned in close to Cherri so nobody would hear him
AD: I bet you 20 bucks those two have somethin' going on
CB: Oh come on I was gonna do that! Does that even count if I agree with you?
H: I don't think they are together I mean Alastor seems to hate the idea of being in a relationship so-
AD: Then I bet YOU 20 bucks they ARE together!
Husk hated the fact he wanted to take the deal but his love of gambling was able to win him over. He placed down $20 on the bar counter on top of Angels original 20.
H: Fine.
AD: Fuck yes!
C: Dad! Where the heck were you?! You were starting to worry me!
L: Oh I was just making something is all! Nothing to be worried about Char!
V: That's great and all but could you please explain why exactly you jumped on to Alastor? You don't even seem mad at him for anything so what was that for?
L: Oh I uhhhh
Both Alastor and Lucifer had no idea how to get themselves out of the situation until Angel shouted from across the room
AD: I BET YOU THEY'RE FUCKIN'!
V: ANGEL WOULD YOU SHUT THE FUCK UP PLEASE!
Alastor and Lucifer just kinda looked at each other and accepted their fate
AD: Whaaat I mean look at em'! Short king over there is still on top of smiles!
Lucifer and Alastor both quickly stood up and saw Charlie staring at them
C: Dad? Is Angel right or is he just being Angel again?
AD: Hey what's that supposed to mean!
V: Shut it!
L: Well uhhhh
A: Not exactly, if he had used a different choice of words then yes
L: Yeahhh I wouldn't really use the tern "fucking" to describe it haha
Lucifer let out a nervous laugh as he awaited Charlie's response.
C: Oh. My. GOSH YOU GUYS ARE TOGETHER!?
A: That is most certainly a better way to put it then he did!
L: Yeah that's for sure!
C: I'M SO HAPPY FOR YOU GUYS YAYYYYYYYYYY
AD: Thanks for the 20 whiskers!
H: Oh fuck you
N: Oooooo bad boy couple hehehhehehehehhehehehehehheheheheh
L: She still kinda freaks me out if I'm being honest.
V: I think she freaks everyone out. Anyway still why in the name of hell did you feel the need to jump on to Alastor? You have been avoiding the question for a while now
L: Oh well I said it earlier, I just kinda felt like it!
V: Wait that was the actual reason why?
L: Yep!
After a while of talking about the whole situation it was getting late so people headed to their own rooms and just as Alastor was about to head to his room he felt someone grab his arm. he turned around to see who it was and wasn't surprised in the slightest to see Lucifer standing there. He was holding a small pink box with a red ribbon on it and a note attached.
L: This is for you, I have to catch up on some paperwork now so I need to go but have a good night!
He handed him the box and went back to his room. Alastor placed the box down on his desk before taking off his coat and sitting down. he carefully opened it and inside was a little duck that looked like him. He looked at the note on the box
'Push the button on the microphone for a surprise ♡'
He looked at the duck and saw that the eye on the microphone was a button and he pushed it. A recording started playing
L: Uhhhhh is this thing on? Oh good it is! Well I just wanted to say whenever you are feeling sad or anything and for whatever reason I can't be there I just want you to know I love you dearly and I'm so glad I have you in my life so no matter what you are going through just know that I love you. no0w how the heck do you turn this thing o-
The recording ended there. Alastor was smiling such a genuine smile and thought 'How could something so small have such a large effect on today' he gave the duck a small kiss before putting it on a shelf and heading to bed
(1051 words) DAMN THAT WAS LONGER THAN IT WAS INTENDED TO BE! I kinda got off track a bit with the request but I wanted to find a way to make it longer since there wasn't much to work with but I loved it so much! Also I am so so sorry I didn't end up making this for like a whole ass month I just didn't have much inspiration for it and I wanted to make sure I made something good especially since it was a request!
