After we've all changed clothes, Jenn insists on brushing my hair for me and making me "presentable," in her words.

I forgot to bring my brush today, so I just let her play with my hair.

She purses her lips as she brushes the long strands.

Her dark lashes flutter as she glances at me.

"Have you been dieting? Your clothes are really loose."

She asks.

I meet her gaze and give a little nod.

"I remember you saying before you left last month, that I sit around too much, so I started some new hobbies."

I say with a little laugh.

I'm not sure what other excuse I can give her. But it's true that I did enjoy some physical activities before the switch.

"Like what?"

She asks curiously as she parts my hair.

She digs through her bag and gets out some hair oil. It smells like cookies.

She adds too drops from the container and rubs it on the palm of her well manicured hands.

Then she starts running her fingers through my hair with it.

"I picked up pilates, and sometimes I'll go for a jog, and I recently started some ballet stretches. Just to improve my balance and coordination. You know, I've always been so clumsy."

My lashes flutter as I glance down at the floor.

I know it's better to look people in the eye when you lie, but I still have trouble with this. Hopefully I don't have to continue doing this for long.

Jennifer pouts.

"I begged you to do ballet with me when we were little, and you refused."

"Really? I don't really remember that. I'm interested in it now. Maybe we can do it together. I'm thinking of signing up for some beginner classes soon."

Jennifer raises one eyebrow.

"Do they have that for people our age?"

"Yeah! Anyone can join. Even adults. It's just for fun anyway."

Jenn thought for a moment.

"Well I don't know if I can, because I have flags now. But I'll see if I can come along with you sometimes."

She promises with a smile.

I smile back, and she finishes up with my hair.

"Here, take this, it suits you."

She stuffs the hair oil bottle into my bag.

I thank her, and we both grab our bags to leave the locker room.

We're chatting away about the party.

Jennifer starts begging me to take at least one shot tonight, and I'm giggling, when I see a familiar face approaching us.

A guy with dark, slightly overgrown hair, swept to the side. And medium height and build.

He looks like he's wearing a t-shirt with some kind of super hero, or wrestler on it, and a button down yellow, short sleeved shirt on top of it.

It doesn't go together at all.

He's also wearing light wash jeans, and a dark backpack over his shoulders.

Chip Dove.

Needy's boyfriend.

So now, my boyfriend I guess.
