                                          Lisa

I stepped into my apartment, feeling a bit tired. It had been a long day, and all I wanted was to relax and unwind.

"Hey, Lisayah! How was therapy?" Chaeyoung, my bestfriend who is also my roommate greeted me from the living room, her voice sounded concern.

Oh, Chaeyoung and I have been best friends for 3 years now. I met her at the café, Brewed Pink Café, where she works. I became a regular at the shop, and we got close because both of us relate when it comes to money problems. As a result, we decided to share an apartment to save a bit of money. I even remember her telling me that her job was only part-time, but she's still there working. I'm sad because I can't help her. I know how much she wants to own her own bookstore café.

"It was... okay," I replied, making my way to the couch and sinking into it.

"Just okay?? Yah! can you answer me with more details, I've been waiting for you since you left you know, I was worried because I know It's your first time seeing a psychiatrist and you're just gonna answer me with okay?????" Chaeyoung yelled out of fraustration.

I jolted up with her sudden outburst and laugh "HAHAHAHA i'm sorry Rosie, I'm just feeling tired, but to answer your question, Dr. Kim was really okay, even though it's my first time going to a psychiatrist and I have nothing to compare her with, I can confidently say that our session really did go well, she's a great psychiatrist just like you said."

Chaeyoung smiled, "Ooooh, I'm glad Lisayah, my friend from the café said to me when she's recommending Dr. Kim, that she really is great, that's why everyone considers her as a one the most succesful and respected psychiatrist here in Seoul."

"She's a great help indeed but my appointment with her hurts my wallet.." I thought to myself, and just sighed with the decision I'm about to make.

"Yeah... about that," I started, feeling a bit guilty.

Chaeyoung looked at me with concern, her brow furrowing slightly. "What is it, Lisa? Is everything okay?"

"I... I just don't think I should go back for more sessions," I admitted.

"But I'm soo thankful to you and especially to your friend for recommending me Dr. Kim, she helped me lifted a weight I was carrying for a long time." I saw Chaeyoung getting a bit teared up so I decided to lighten up the mood.

"Oh, by the way, your friend was right, Dr. Kim's beauty is really captivating, I guess that's why she keeps on coming back to their sessions even though she doesn't need it anymore" I said, chuckling along with Chaeyoung at my discovery.

11:47 pm

It's almost midnight by now, but here I am sitting on the edge of my bed, staring at my phone, having some second thoughts, I don't want to disturb her at this hour, but telling her now might save her from any inconvenience.

I sighed deeply, "I should just call her quickly now so that it can be over."

I dialed her number and after just a few rings she answered "Hello?"

"Hi, Dr. Kim this is Lisa." I'm feeling nervous right now, I hope she won't be mad.

"L...Lisa? Hi, I'm surprised that you called, How can I help you at this hour?"

"Yeah, sorry for calling this late, I just wanted to talk to you about something.."

"Is everything okay?" Dr. Kim asked, sounding concerned.

"I... I'm very sorry, but I was thinking of cancelling everything, I know my therapy session just started earlier, but just like I said, it wasn't really my plan to go, because I'm facing some financial problems right now, so I really can't afford going to therapy." I explained, feeling a lump in my throat.

There was a pause, silence filled on the other end.

"Dr. Kim?" I called, checking if she's still there.

Suddenly, I heard a clearing of throat.

"I understand the problems you're dealing with right now... but I really can't afford losing a patient I know that really needs my help."

"What... Is she not letting me cancel my appointments with her???"  I asked myself, so confused.

"That's why I've decided to make our sessions free of charge now."

"Huh?" Was all I could say.
