Lisa decided to visit Chaeyoung at her work to unwind. that place is somehow her escape, especially after the disappointment of Ms. Choi cancelling their photoshoot.

As Lisa sipped her coffee while capturing photos with her camera, a voice startled her from behind. "So, I guess you're avoiding my texts." Turning around, Lisa was surprised to see Dr. Kim standing there.

Dr. Kim being there suddenly caught Lisa off guard. She quickly composed herself and offered a polite smile. "Oh, Dr. Kim! I didn't expect to see you here."

Dr. Kim returned the smile. "Oh yes, I'm actually a regular here," her eyes then wandered around Lisa with curiousity. "And I hope I'm not interrupting anything important, are you meeting with a client?" she said, gesturing to Lisa's camera.

Lisa shook her head. "No, just trying to clear my head after a rough day," she admitted, a hint of frustration in her voice.

Dr. Kim nodded understandingly. "I'm sorry to hear that. Would you like me to join you?"

Lisa hesitated for a bit before nodding. "Sure, I could use the distraction."

"Alright, let me just order my coffee first"

Lisa stood up immediately, "No, Dr. Kim, let me do that for you, besides I need some refill with mine." Lisa said, showing her empty cup.

Dr. Kim chuckled. "Okay, but stop with the formalities, we're not in session. Just call me Jennie."

Lisa smiled.

"Okay, Jennie..?"

Jennie laughed at Lisa's hesitation in saying her name.

"Hahaha yes that's how you say it, also a latte would be nice" Lisa nodded and jokingly saluted.

While the young photographer walked away, Jennie coudn't help but to smile.

Shortly after, Lisa came back with their coffees, along with her friend Chaeyoung.

Jennie stood up immediately as they approached.

Lisa set their coffees down and introduced them to each other.

"Dr. Kim— I mean Jennie, this is my bestfriend Chaeyoung, she's the one I've been talking to you about." Chaeyoung smiled at Jennie, which the latter returned back.

"And Chaeyoung-ah this is uhm... wait what name should she call you?" Lisa asked Jennie which made her laugh.

"Hi, Chaeyoung. You can call me Jennie, It's nice to meet you." Jennie greeted, extending her hand, which Chaeyoung accepted.

"It's nice meeting you too Jennie..? sorry I got used to Lisa calling you Dr. Kim since she's been talking a lot about you."

Lisa then smacked Chaeyoung playfully which got them to not notice Jennie's hint of blush on her cheeks.

Chaeyoung then looked back at Jennie, "You know what, it's my first time meeting you, but you seem familiar."

"Well, duh, she's one of your regulars here." Lisa answered as she rolled her eyes.

Chaeyoung's eyes widened, and she leaned in a bit closer to Jennie. "Wait, are you the one who orders latte every day?"

Jennie nodded with a smile. "Yes, that's me."

Chaeyoung's hand flew to her mouth in surprise. "But how didn't I realize you're Dr. Kim?"

Jennie chuckled and shrugged. "Well, I don't really have many photos online, and when I do come here, I leave right away after receiving my coffee."

Chaeyoung replied, intrigued. "I guess so, but then I didn't really expect someone as important as you to be a regular here."

Jennie chuckled, "Important is such a big word. But to clear up your confusion, one of my former patients, who happens to be your colleague, recommended this place to me, and I love it here actually."

"Former...?" Lisa asked curiously.

Jennie nodded, "Yes, our last session ended yesterday. I told her she didn't really need me anymore, and I'm glad she agreed to it."

"I know you can tell she's doing well these days." Jennie said, gesturing to Chaeyoung.

"You're actually right. She's not as gloomy the first time I met her." Chaeyoung replied, agreeing to her.

"Wow, I guess you're as good as they say you are." Hearing that from Lisa, Jennie's face got warm and her heart beat fastened.

The three of them chatted for a few minutes, but Chaeyoung had to return to work since her lunch break was over.

"Hey, guys, I'll be heading back now. It was nice talking with you, Jennie," Chaeyoung said, giving Jennie a hug.

"Thank you, I also had fun talking to you." Jennie replied.

This little moment made Lisa smile.

12:10 pm

When Chaeyoung left, Lisa and Jennie continued talking for like an hour, about Lisa's client photoshoot cancellation. As they both went on with their chat, their topics became lighter which got themselves giggling throughout of it. Suddenly, Jennie's phone rang, snapping her out of the conversation. She checked the caller ID and realized she was late for a session with one of her patients.

Excusing herself to Lisa, she stood up to take the call.

"I'll be there right away," Jennie assured the caller before turning back to Lisa. "I'm sorry, but I need to go now."

Lisa nodded understandingly and walked Jennie outside the cafe, bidding their goodbyes. Lisa suddenly chuckled lightly. "You know, our talk earlier seemed like a therapy session."

"Kinda... but I like to think of it as us just hanging out," Jennie replied with a smile.

Surprised, Lisa asked, "Wait... are you considering me one of your friends?"

Jennie shrugged and smiled sweetly. "Why not?"

Before entering in her car, Jennie added, "Oh, and Lisa, about my offer... if you don't like the idea of having free sessions with me, you could always think of it as someone who wants to give you some company when you're not okay."

After that, Jennie drove off leaving Lisa dumbfounded.
