The room smelled like ginger.

Eunha, who was lying under a blanket, put the ginger tea in her mouth. Perhaps the bitter taste surprised her because Eunha coughed.

"Sister, sister! Are you all right?"

"Yes."

But she coughed again. Gari, who was frightened, looked at Jihak.

"We'll have to call a doctor. She may die due to lung disease."

Jihak looked at the inert Eunha with indifference. She was a stubborn girl.

"You said you could kill a tiger, but you've become weak."

Yuljae, who stood beside him, opened the door to the room.

"Please, get out. You might catch it."

"Do you think I can get sick easily?"

"This is unusual."

Yuljae realized that Eunha was serious. She coughed so often that he wondered if he would have to clean a corpse tonight.

"Call the doctor. In case she dies, throw her into the mountain."

His eyes burned as he gave the order.

His words were cruel, it seemed he could not contain his anger.

Yuljae called for a doctor, she had to be saved.

"The girl will be safe, Lord."

"The nights are long without a woman."

Then Jihak walked over to where Lee Cham was waiting.

He didn't feel like conversing with him today.

"Oh, the military officer has arrived."

Cham, who had nervously waited, bowed to Jihak. Although he was the deposed Crown Prince, Cham acted as if he were the King.

"Your Majesty, forgive me for coming unannounced."

"The discourtesy was mine because I did not receive you yesterday."

"I wanted to see you as soon as possible. I would like to talk to you."

"I enjoyed your story while having a few drinks."

Jihak, who had his eyes fixed on the door behind Cham, looked around the area where the books were. His expression didn't change.

I guess he really doesn't see me.

Blind people had sensitive ears.

Cham was not satisfied with what had happened in the East Tower. The others had not treated him with respect. That's why Jihak was delicious prey for him.

His Excellency was worried about the large army, that's why he kept it under control. But if only he could get his hands on Jihak.

"But didn't you say you liked books?"

"I thought you wouldn't remember because you were drunk."

"Don't underestimate my memory. I brought you an interesting book."

His eyes became sharp, but Lee Cham was so focused on the books that he didn't see the look. Jihak called out to Yuljae.

"Bring me that girl."

"My Lord."

The doctor should have prescribed medicine for her by now. Jihak spoke with a smile as he looked at Yuljae who had a puzzled expression.

"Make her regain her composure, you can even spray her with water, don't you think our military officer would like to hear that woman's voice."
