The owner stared at Jihak, who was holding the teacup. Since she knew Jihak's true identity, she could not refute his words.

"I understand what you mean. But Yongi has sold her body. She is a great benefit to me. Suddenly, I can't lose her."

"Will the courtesan house be ruined without Yongi? She is a flower in a garden."

Jihak coldly snorted. The owner was going to go mad. He wasn't satisfied that he had taken Eunha, he wanted to take her sister as well.

"I can give you a better girl. She has work to do."

"Then can't you give me Yongi?"

"I'm a businesswoman, it's an unfair deal."

"The problem is the price..."

A smile bloomed on Jihak's cold face. The owner felt anxious again, as if she had a knife at her throat.

"She's worth more than your life?"

The sword was this man's tongue.

She held her skirt with sweaty hands.

"Yongi is a precious girl. But how can you compare her to my life?"

"Eunha said she would do anything to rescue her sister from the courtesan house. If you are astute, you can live a humble life for a long time."

She remembered the people Jihak beheaded.

When Jihak was Prince, people admired his intelligence. Some said there would be peace if he ascended the throne. They believed he was a virtuous King.

But she saw a different man. Such a cruel man could become King? How could people dream of peace?

She bitterly smiled.

"Your father died because he coveted a precious woman. And what you do is no different from what a courtesan does."

She had promised not to bother, but she could not tolerate his attitude. Although she was the owner of the courtesan house, she had become Yoon Jongshin's concubine.

She didn't like that he treated her so badly.

"You know a lot about it."

She said in a dignified voice. She chuckled because she was afraid to make eye contact with the blind man.

"I think anyone in Harye knows that. He was the one who openly touched the ladies. That's why they beat him to death before his daughters."

She ruffled her dress with her hands. But the man's face remained unchanged.

That was in her memory. She was not in a position where she could look him in the face because of his status as Crown Prince, Lee Hongjoo's body was transported on a wagon.

But he was calm.

When she didn't know Jihak's identity, she thought he was just a madman.

"...You didn't know?"

Jihak patted his teacup with a smile.

The door suddenly opened. Yoon Jongshin appeared with a blue sword. The courtesan house owner stood up with her head down.

She realized that she was in danger.

"She has been a little rude. I hope you will forgive her."

Yoon Jongshin bowed to Jihak, who was calm.

"I can ignore her crime."

Yoon Jongshin closed his eyes.

"I have been told what you want. Immediately, I will release the courtesan you mentioned. I hope there will be no hard feelings."

"Your subordinates are curious. I can't believe they overheard our conversation."

"It's not like that...."

"Anyway, tea tastes strange, would you like to drink it?"

He brought the cup to his mouth several times, but felt a shudder when he saw that Jihak had not drunk anything. Although he obviously knew everything, Jihak pretended not to know. His veins stood out on his hand when he put down the cup.

But Yoon Jongshin smiled.

"I should bring alcohol to drink."

Jihak burst out laughing at Yoon Jongshin's attitude. Yoon Jongshin swallowed saliva when he saw the madness in his eyes.

"Since you're in the courtesan house, you can taste a girl."

"What madwoman would suck a blind man's manhood? Would you do that?"

It was the first time he said something so brazen. No matter Yoon Jongshin wanted to resolve the situation, it seemed that Jihak was determined to cause trouble.

"Unbelievable. My former father-in-law has offered me a woman."
